3. Razelux: Edward Viol, who could be described as an odd one. He's an aspiring musician, but with no talent for performing and no social skills to pretend otherwise. 4. joz: Gioluigi Buffon. It's pronounced "BOOPhone", but his friends call him Don Buffon. He owns an old Italian restaurant where everyone loves to frequent. "No Mexicans in this kitchen." Buffon is old school and is well known for making a killer sauce! Better than what's his name, "All thumbs" Morici. As an older gentleman, Buffon likes to keep to his restaurant and caters to anyone who enjoys a hot plate of pasta.
5. StarfoxFan2009: Vincetti Capanitti. An old time italian, he prefers making his food the old fashioned way of handkneading the pasta. his profession is of a cook as well as in his spare time a trader of goods
6. Dudebro: Vito Tremblay, a construction worker with a fondness for ducklings. The legacy of his former beard haunts his reputation.
7. ChrisP: Christos; a Greek and spoiled college student from a wealthy family who moved to Italy with Gustavo Moriarty, his butler/translator to study art and literature. After living it Italy for 5 years and finishing his college degree, he decided to travel the world. He decided to travel to North America with Gustavo, a man of few words, and they currently came across a crummy complex (to "live the everyman's life") in Toronto. Christos speaks Greek and some Italian while Gustavo translates in 14 different language including English and French.
8. stevencassidy13: Eddie Spago. A drunk old fool, always burping and hiccuping as he talks. Been that way for 40 years. If hes not making gross noises, he's dead. A farmer all his life, he was always a kind soul, helping out wherever he can, and giving fresh vegetables to who ever need them. Yes, he is a good man, the type of man you'd want to go to war with. He is a friend first, he is a drunk second.
9. Barra: Lorenzo Lombardi. A retired finance advisor, now bar owner. He spends his life watching others drink their's away.
10. Kong: Chef Boy R. Dee. He's not the best chef but in a pinch he can turn anything into a hot tomato based meal.
11. Cam3ron36: Si Qua. Lived on the Native reserves most of his life, but moved up here to work on the Railroad.

13. Tenser: Vinny "The Thumb" Morici, a 44 year-old high school dropout. His aspirations consist of living off of other's hard work, engaging in petty criminal offenses, and making a mean pasta sauce. He is the current owner and operator of a shoddy, run-down, third-rate "mom and pop" pizza joint. He claims Italian heritage and pride even though he's 8th generation Canadian and knows nothing of Mediterranean culture besides what he's seen from Hollywood movies.
14. Katz

The setting is a small mid-city residential building in an area in 1960's Toronto with a large Italian demographic. It's a pretty shady apartment complex, but the living is cheap. Honestly, it's not a great compensation; the fire escape is broken and the stair case is like, welded shut or something, it's weird. This time of year, the whole place starts to freeze up some, too.

You live on the fifth floor, where everyone seems kinda nice and simple on the outside, but you get the feeling that that the odds are good that, deep down inside, most of your neighbors maybe aren't the best kind of people. Rumors are pretty thick that some of them, looking to either get some quick money or help their businesses, got themselves involved with the Canadian Mafia.

People have been mentioning something about "unholy weather" coming from the West, but whatever. It's all talk, and maybe people do too much of that around here.



We'll start the first round in 14 or so hours. I'll pm everyone their roles and bump the thread with an update when that time comes. If you want to write out a littler persona, this is probably a good chance to.

"Unholy weather" weren't words to be ignored, as it turns out. An absolutely unworldy blizzard has left the streets buried in 25 feet of snow. It would seem that the electricity blackout, going on three days now, is affecting the entire town. Really though, without the elevator you haven't even seen the world beyond your floor, not that the natural disaster outside is inviting enough for you to satisfy any curiosity.

It's a pretty disgusting and uncomfortable situation, but you find yourself sharing resources and opening up a little more to your neighbors; perhaps seeing them as more human than fake and possibly dangerous. Really though, how much longer can some 15 or 16 people last when this inhibiting atmosphere doesn't seem to relent?

Alright, I'm sending the roles out and extending the time before we start by one more day. Joz's post made me realize that There should be some time between the role confirmation and the game start.

Five more days have passed. Still without power, refrigerated foods have begun to spoil (at least it's chilly indoors) and room temperature goods are showing more signs that they're receding than the storm certainly is. You and your neighbors have decided to stop making jokes about cannibalism.

"Fat" Paul, a portly shut-in who's been the subject of slander these past few days, was found dead in his apartment. I'll spare you the details, but trust me, it looks like a murder. Though you and everybody else would have bet the world that he'd have a stash of food tucked away, he didn't have a thing. Maybe he ate it all, maybe someone looted the place. I didn't really know too much about the guy myself, but apparently he used to be a boxer back his day. To have taken him so quietly probably took the work of more than one of you losers. This could only be the handy work of...

Everyone decides that the most rational way to go about this is to democratically execute whoever is suspected of being a mafian.

I assure you it was not me who killed a random middle classed man named "Fat Paul". If someone important dies, then you can start pointing fingers at me. I vote for the quiet one [Barra's character]. It's much easier for them to kill someone if we don't even know who they are!"
