WB's cracking down, so for whoever wants to see it, better watch it now!

I for one think this looks mindblowingly awesome, definitely more in the spirit of the original Gojira than the later films in the Showa / Heisei era.

Looks... good? Hard to tell by the trailer. I doubt any direction they're prepared to take this in will be as though provoking as the original but maybe it will be okay.

Well, they did say they were working towards the spirit of the original film more than anything, being mainly character driven and what-not, and considering they're working in conjunction with Toho, I'm sure it'll turn out just as good as Gojira (fingers crossed).

Looks awesome so far. If it lives up to that short trailer it could redeem giant monster movies. Cloverfield tried but lots of people didn't like the monster, what little you saw of it. Btw that narration is great. For anyone unfamiliar with it-

So I just came back from seeing it and I thought it was awesome. The special effects were amazing. They tease you a lot of the movie but the final fight scene is awesome.

Bryan Cranston was awesome as usual, a shame he dies about 45 minutes in. They really put an emphasis on him in the trailers to make it seem like he would be in it longer. I feel bad for the people that were fooled. I went in knowing he wasn't the main charater. Coolest part of the movie was when Godzilla took the female MUTO and fired his atomic breath in her mouth and took her head off. Totally amazing effects. Funniest part of the movie was when the male MUTO gave the female MUTO radioactive food and they kissed LOL


Overall I thought it was really good. I'm glad they already confirmed a second and anyone else who saw it, let me know if you caught that awesome teaser
