tag team contest

prizes

1st place team gets 60 dollars worth of steam games each, ps card, or nintendo 3ds card
2nd place team gets 30 dollars worth of steam games each, ps card, or nintendo 3ds card
and 3rd place team gets 15 dollars worth of steam games each, ps card, or nintendo 3ds card

dates

starting date-may 1st

ending date june 1st

deadline to sign up- none


to sign up you must pick a player or just sign up and another person without a parnter will be teamed up with you.
after your team is decided you have to pick 3 arcade games to play in the contest. you pick one, your partner picks another, and then you decide on the last one.

scoring submitting
You can submit the scores on retrouprising.com, replay.marpirc.net, pm me the inp, or post your inp on the thread, on marp put in va for the comment.

scoring
scoring is based on your percentage of the highest score in the game if you finish 1st with 1 mil points you get 1 point, and if your teammate finish last with 10,000 points he gets .01 points for your team. a 1 point for you, .01 for your teammate. there is also bonus points that will be awarded at the end for 1cc in a game, beating the world record, and beating the current record on retrouprising and/or marp, each will get you one point for your team. 1 bonus point per player per game

Game list will be randomly picked on april 30th (see game list below).

there is no rounds for this contest it last the whole month so you have a month to score in all the games.You may signup at anytime even after the contest starts.

I'll have to test out some arcade games later. Being that my computer was having a hard time holding up for SNES games, I'm not overly optimistic it'll be alright with Arcade.

you could always download a emulator that you can record the inp and do it that way if you want to

nah, not getting good framerates at all on some of the higher end games. I'll just be bringing my team mate down. I got a busy May anyways it looks like. I'm out guys, have fun!

Bump. Starts in less than a week.

I think some people might be intimidated to enter because they don't want to let down a team mate.

If you want to play just for fun and don't want to feel committed to playing your absolute best for a solid month then just do what I did in my last post and say you want to join a team that is playing for fun and not glory.

Well, I've been busy this last month but I think that I'm gonna have more free time in May. I would try to win this thing but also I have no problem if I don't, if I have fun I'll be satisfied. TodayIsForgotte, I can be your teammate if you want, I'll try to do my best as well, and there's no problem if you don't have that much time to play this time.

Oh that's nice, but I think you are eligible to claim the prize if we win, you can only win one Retro Daze contest every three months, but this is a contest sponsored by our good friend Wolfman. I may be wrong but I think this is how it works, they can explain it better I think.
