B.O.B - SNES / GEN Game Clearing (or any other password-continuing game)

For password-function games like B.O.B for SNES or GEN, how would one go about continuing that on Score Mode? The only way to continue in the game is through a password function, and I was wondering how you'd clear it in more than one sitting.

For password based games, you have to beat it the entire sitting.

Pressing P to pause and leave game running or play in one sitting are the only options.

Didn't want to make a new thread since the subject is similar.

But, for games like Final Fantasy or other RPG's, or even other, longer games, that rely largely on saving then coming back and continuing off that save, how does one go about that on Score Mode? I'm assuming you play until you have to leave or something, then save, exit score mode, then come back and resume the save in score mode? Or once you leave score mode, do you have to submit a screenshot each time you do so?

just resume the game in score mode

1. Make sure you use the game's built in save function. Save just like you would in the original game. This has nothing to do with the emulator.
2. Close the emulator by pressing escape - NOT by closing the webpage.

If you do not want to over write your old save then close the webpage before the emulator.
