I collect foreign currency.

Interesting stuff, eh?
I had a small collection of coins but lost them .. too bad because I had some that were quite old and I haven't seen those before or since.
But I liked looking at how the styles of artwork on the money had changed over the decades .. and how old the Queen is getting

- one of those coins had her wearing the royal crown in pigtails!

I had around 50 different caps from about 15 different countries, but I lost them when I moved.

To hear you put it that way,
'caps' just reminded me of a collection of baseball caps I used to have, about hundred caps.
I forget exactly what happened to them, but I have a feeling if I remember I'm going to get mad about it ..

Video games. I probably have close to a thousand.
|
They add up, don't they?
I don't know how many I have left but it's way less than a thousand for certain, all PS2/ GC era and earlier.
Whenever I think about parting with what's left I end up playing them again, so I guess I'm not done with them yet.

I think the guy in the OP is a little nuts but if it makes him happy oh well.

That's what people say about me and my cats all over the house; I don't think there's many spots where you don't have a cat or two staring at you .
Collections take on lives of their own sometimes, and after a while it's like playing

I'm not big into collecting, I'd rather sell stuff, but my wife has 21 assorted gnomes and one old book about their history from the guy who made them popular. The gnomes range in size from a couple inches tall to your typical garden variety(one is a ChiaPet). We also have a large Terracotta soldier and a gremlin who sits under a table and stares at me.

Gnome history, as in the old legends and stuff?
Cool.
WAY better than pink flamingos any day, in my opinion,.
{now watch someone post that they collect pink flamingos}
DB have you ever considered that you have a sort of 'Mexican standoff' going there with that Gremlin, after all, from
his point of view
you're the one who's staring, right?
