Pokemon FireRed[1]Delayed Beginnings - YouTube
As with the Ninja Gaiden Shadow playthrough, I will be doing the same with Pokemon FireRed. As it's a long game, I won't be focusing solely on FireRed, and will most likely be doing other uploads as well.
Description from the video:
"Note: Again there's an Audio / Video delay, and it gets pretty serious later on in the video. I WILL try to work on this as best as I can, but I can't make any promises.
Side Note: In my ever-expanding attempt to better myself at storytelling, at the beginning of each video, I'll include a little paragraph or two or three in storytelling format explaining the journey Red takes. By the end of the series, there should be an entire legend in place, which I hope will bring in more viewers and reactions.
By now, you should know what Pokemon is. Pokemon FireRed is a remake / re-imagining of Pokemon Red for the GameBoy. They added improved graphics, more Pokemon, more Effort Values, a whole slew of other technical things, the ability to play as a boy or a girl, and much more.
I will be playing through the game from beginning to end, so this is going to be a very long series. I'll try my best not to include -too- much grinding in the videos, but if it gets to the point where there's too much, feel free to let me know in the comment section below and I'll try my best to rectify the situation.
Basic beginning stuff. I chose Squirtle because, from what I can recall from Red, there's not many Pokemon excluding the Gym Leaders that have a natural strength against WATER type Pokemon, though I could be wrong, especially in FireRed. It also makes the Rival battles much easier, since your Rival chooses Bulbasar if you choose Squirtle, so yeah. Ensures I won't black out during those battles at least.
Have fun watching the video, and I hope you'll join me for part 2!"
