High Scores?

1. If I have a score that hasn't been verified for a long time, what does it mean?
2. Is it being neglected because it's invalid, if so, am I always going to be notified?
3. Are my scores in a que, if so why are my newer ones inputed but the old ones arn't?
4. Do mods just pick and choose what games they check, if so whould it help if I request for a specific high score to be verified?
5. Can I do anything to speed up the process of inputing my own high scores?

I might ask so more questions as they come to me; I have searched the forums for similar questions with no luck in getting any good answers to these questions.

I'm an ex-score mod and I'll answer your questions.

1.
A. Nothing, it just means nobody has gotten around to watching it yet. Please understand that there are only so many mods and everyone has a limited time availability, and all submissions from all players must be watched, sometimes in real time with no speedup. And some of those submissions are very long (tens of minutes, maybe even over an hour).

B. Their is a problem or anomaly with your submission and the mods are discussing it, again on their own time. They will contact you with further information if necessary.

2. Yes. You will get a private message with the reason.

3. Scores are put into an list ordered by time of submission. Your newer scores may be shorter than the older scores, so they will be judged faster. Again, staff is not watching 24 hours a day, please be patient.

4. Mods do pick what score to look at, but eventually all scores are taken care of. Posting about it will NOT help, it only comes off as annoying. You should wait several days before raising a inquiry.

5. No.

1. If it says "Processioning" then it will eventually be gotten to.

There has been a back log recently. Several mods are on vacation right now and number of score submissions recently increased while number of mods did not. We are looking into a solution to speed up score approvals.

2. A. If there is something unusual it may be discussed which can slow the process down. That doesn't mean it will eventually be deleted.

2. B. Normally. If it is something you have been repeatedly told then you might not be notified.

3. Yes they are in a queue ordered by oldest score. Mods some times cheery pick easy ones or interesting ones first.

4. All scores are eventually dealt with within a few days. No need for you to do anything. If 4 days have gone by then you can ask what is going on. It shouldn't ever take that long.

Couldn't you just make more people score mods/make some people temporary mods or something?

Well, you can't make just anyone a Game Mod. People who want to be GMs must prove to Kong and the rest of the staff that they are trustworthy, and that takes time. I don't there's ever going to be temporary Game Mods.
