Favorite System/Game

If you had to pick your favorite system of all time, what would it be and why? Also, what is your favorite game on that system?

My favorite system is the SNES. It is a classic and almost any game was amazing.

Favorite game. Toss up between Super Metroid and Final Fantasy III, but ultimately, it would have to be FF3. I still play that game quite frequently and it never gets old. I will probably be buried with the SNES console with the FF3 cartridge in the system (with a controller of course).

I'm with you jeckel, I'd have to go with SNES and the best game for it is Secret of Mana. I let a friend borrow my copy of it and it never got returned

I could still play that game for hours on end. If it ever ends up on the VC for Wii, I will get it without hesitation.

It is funny cause people who are a little bit older liked the snes (1990)and next was the 64 (1996). I guess this question just depends on when you were born. Might as well throw that in for shiggles.

just because i like being odd, i will say NES.

Favorite game? yeah its obvious its Double Dragon 2: The Revenge ;D i beat it on here at least 20 times.

Me as well. I would buy the Wii and make sure to play with you guys. Secret of Mana was pretty good. I am seeing a lot of games that I have been playing recently. Maybe it is because I dusted off the old snes. Well, I will continue playing.

They could do the same thing with FF6. It was co-op too after all.

If any system released any more FF games, I would be the first in line to get it (and the system). So lons as they are somewhat based on the old storyline and have the same type of gameplay.

System = SMS - I will always have a soft spot for the SMS because it was my first system but now that I have played every game on it I am losing some interest.

Game = Out Of This World - I wish there were more games like this one.

Sega genesis got me really into games, but im partial to the ps2 these days Because of the deversity of games on it,you can even import games from other coutries you cant find here.
Anything "Metal gear" is my fav game.

NES. Almost any game. Simple as that.
After that I'd have to say PC(if that counts as a system), way too many games I love on PC.

I would say PC counts as a system. You may be thinking more along the lines of a console. A PC is a system used for gaming. Lets see....graphics card, sound card, memory....hmmm, seems like a system to me.

Anyways, the PC is certainly a game system.

Commodore? Amiga? Tandy? Atari ST? Odyssey? Amstrad? Interton VC? RCA Studio? SG-100-? Sharp? VIC-20?

FF7: Crisis Core for PSP is awesome. and has to do with the old storyline. The gameplay is more actiony, but it rules.

And to defend my Kirby Superstar choice, I played a ton of it with my friends co-op, and that is why it is so great to me. The best co-op game ever made, and I love co-op.

Sega megadrive i didnt have really too much games only a bunch of it but i buyed a lot of consoles after that and still is the funiest for me ( srry for my bad english)

and ps2 ( i dont realy like next gen games almost all games are graphics and they dont care if the game is funny or not)
