Got some questions...

Hello all, I have a few questions. First off, I don't exactly understand what mastering a game is. Can you master any game? How do you post a picture showing what games you have completed? Questions aside, this site seems epic.

Mastering a game is beating it. Here's a link to the faq explaining it-

It's number 4 & 5 in the game rules section.

The gist of it is you have to submit a screenshot showing the game is beaten. You submit a screenshot for mastery or high score by pushing F12 on the correct screen. Most games can be mastered but for various reasons not every game is eligible.

Not that I'm aware of. One thing to watch for is if a game can't be played in ArcadeOX score mode. If it's not in score mode it won't be counted. You can always ask us before you try a game as well.

I think the vast majority of RPGs can be mastered, if you're into those.

When you want to master a game, play it in Score Mode. If the game has saves enabled, to save you save like you normally would, and press escape to leave the game.

When you want to submit a screenshot for mastery, under your avatar it says "My Game Screens." After you submit the mastery, the pic will show up there.

One other question. In Final Fantasy 2(4) am I allowed to change the battle speed and message and window color? Or does EVERYTHING have to be default? Sorry if I sound stupid, but I have played this game way too much and another playthrough only for it not to count isn't very fun.

I'm pretty sure you can change window colors and message speeds cause it doesn't effect the games difficulty.

Because RPGs are SRAM (which means saves are enabled), then you can do anything you wish (grinding, changing options, etc.)
