Pokemon gold and silver

Does anyone know if they're planning on remaking gold and silver like they did with fire red and leaf green... i think gold and silver was hands down the best pokemon made, but when i play it now im just so used to the new ones that it seems like its lacking

Gold and silver are definitely the best, but I think that a fire red/ leaf green style remake would ruin them because it would use all the new pokemon and elements from the DS games.

they should somehow make it better or newer in a way while still retaining its "originality"

when i was young all u had to do was remember like 50 pokemon now there is like 5000 so im still sticking with red version for my favorite

152 at the start actully. I have no idea how many there are now. I stopped playing after the number grew past 250 or so...

they're running out of ideas the pokemon in diamond and pearl were poorly done and they looked incredibly stupid

I think nearly all Pokemon look really stupid. The actual creatures, that is. However, the gameplay is so phenomenal, I still play the new ones when I get around to it, and am planning on getting the newest ones pretty soon.

Just ignore that they are running out of ideas. It's still a great game.

That's usually what happens as games get older or with sequels. you just can't beat the original (most of the time).
