And now, someone make a comment and post the next video.

Here's a video from 'Yogscast', who have numerous MC videos posted on you tube.
I thoroughly enjoy their videos as they are often informative and always entertaining.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh hhhh!!!
They attempt to make an automated Snow Golem dispenser later in the video ..

I hadn't actually watched this one at the time I posted it, but I know it's gonna be good if it's Yogscast.
They also post demos of mods and tex paks - some of which I shall post later.
Enjoy!
Yeah, as of 1.9 Pre-6 Minecraft now has an ending.
You can continue to play after the credits roll but it certainly is an ending.
I see that {now} and so would like to apologize to all RU's MC players for having unknowingly posted the ultimate MC spoiler .. now I feel bad for not having watched it before posting.
However, we also got a peek at the sorts of things to expect when we gear up and go Ender Dragon hunting.
I'm thinking we should bring a few of these units:
Post them around a hill to form a defensive perimeter to keep the Endermen off our backs so we can concentrate on the Ender Dragon.
Bring as many players as possible along as well, heavily armed of course.
.....and suddenly developed an incredible nostalgia for the old map generator.
Look at all that random varied terrain, I miss it now =(.
Biomes are fine but they also make things way too predictable.
So while online tonight I asked the crew whether they play Adventure Maps, and it seems that many people are unaware of what they are exactly.
This cannot be allowed to continue, and so to broaden your horizons in your MC experience, may I present to you one of my favorite Adventure Map videos starring the incomparable Xephos and Honeydew, ala Yogscast!

Shadow of Israphel follows is an epic adventure, well written and the MAP = I love it.
{I recommend you guys download it so you can check it out yourselves.}
^
Did anyone else hear them, starting in around 1:15?
Total Ghast giggles if you ask me, the only thing missing is the 'I wanna ... hurrrt you..'.
Today, I would like to post this: you have to download this and try it - it's amazing! {just remember to play on at least 'Easy' difficulty or nothing will happen}
This is probably my favorite Minecraft video that I've seen. I was a bit let down that the "Look Around You" references stop after the intro, though. I assumed that the whole thing would be silly. The analysis was interesting; however I believe that it might have been easier to just record the maximum velocity of a falling player.
I can't help it, I think this is just hilarious.
Also now you will see where the quote in my sig came from.
Also, anyone who hasn't seen Shadow of Israphel - ya gotta - it's a proper quest, if ever there was one.

I watched this, and after thought to myself:
If this were my first exposure to Minecraft, it would probably have turned me off the game entirely.
{just like the 'free to play' 'Alpha' version on their site}
Everything about that is awful except the game. If it was my first exposure it would pique my interest enough to youtube it. Btw as someone who grew up watching Gadget I just wanna say that was possibly the worst imitation I've ever heard. It took a lot for me to keep watching it.
That 'tik - tik - tik' is my favorite sound
A world apart - it's all my own!
I love this song!

=== LYRICS ===
[Intro]
Dig it up, lay it down,
lets play all night.
We built this town.
Dig it up, lay it down,
let's play all night.
We built this town.
Built this town...
[Chorus]
There's something deep deep down,
that calls from the underground
an urge in my heart, for brick and stone
That tic tic tic- it's my favorite sound.
A world apart- it's all my own
[Verse]
Let's play all night. Dig it up, dig it up- play all night
Lay it down, lay it down- lay it down.
We've got a place we found. Listen to the sound
of a tribe that you belong.
We don't need to find new friends
they've been here all along
[Rap]
Yeah!
Creeping, creepy Creeper I'm the number one griefer.
Blowin' up on ya- I'm gonna respawn ya.
Better hide them kids them wife. Best-believe you gonna lose your life.
I go dark and go deep gonna blast yo' sheep!
Thought ya had some sheep Ain't got no sheep no mo'.
Build it- I destroy it.
[Repeat chorus]
[Verse]

[Rap]
You'll find me hangin' out where it's dimly lit Four shoes on my feets, and my grill's legit.
Outlast and blast you, until you rage quit. So come a little closer this won't hurt a bit.
That's what I do when I get too close to you.
That's what I do when I get too close to you.
I go boom boom boom when I get too close to you.
[Verse]
deep deep down, underground an urge in my heart, for brick and stone
That tic tic tic it's my favorite sound.
A world apart- it's all my own
[Outro]
Dig it up, lay it down,
lets play all night.

THIS is the makings of awesome - and even if you don't like Dubstep I'm sure you'll agree the potential for these devices is great for making other sorts of noteblock music too.
As the creator says in the video, this is not set up to play a song but is intended more as a demonstration of the concepts:
Anyone care to give it a go?
Ten?
Sumo?
You guys are pretty handy with redstone devices.
Sadly there is no download link for the save file but at least you can see how things are made.
