How do i play games that require a zapper?

If you are going for Score mode you can use the other control type which allows for using the gamepad for controlling the shooting stages.

Also in score mode you can press Shift +F5 to reset the game with mouse support enabled.

Then press Tab. Select "Input (this system)". Select P2 Up. Move mouse up. Do the same for all directions. Then select P2 B and press the left mouse button and P2 A and press the right mouse button. Then you can use the mouse as if zapper was plugged into player two.

How about for Point Blank I tried playing it with my controller and the crosshairs kept flying across the screen to the edges

You can press tab and then select Analog Controls to change the sensitivity and speed.

Or you can press Shift + F5 to enable the mouse.

They used to not be supported or poorly supported.
