Old PC game, Side Scroller Kind of RPGish.

I dont remember a whole bunch of this game but i have been looking for it for a long time, i am 23 now i must have been about 7 or 8 when i played it.

it was a side scrolling game you play a little man i think he either had a leahter jacket or maybe he was a cave man lol far off i know.
you would need water or he would say(in text at the bottom of the screen)
"My throat is parched" thats like the only thing i can really remember.
you would need to eat, i was kinda dumb at 7 so i didnt really know what the objective of the game was. i think there were enemies that would come from the other side of the screen but i cant remember what they looked like.

i think this might be what im looking for but this guy didnt get an answer either.

Strategy First - Caveman Survival ? I don't think so but the post you linked to mentioned caveman and survival.

Did it play like the Lemmings or Lost Vikings?

I don't think it is right, but I think I vaguely remember something about throat being parched and a dude in a leather jacket. Could be Full Throttle.

I already guessed in the EVG topic and I have no new guesses but I do have a question for Clayton702. What made you decide to post this on RU? It's all good I'm just curious.

I don't have any suggestions as to what your game may be, but I do suggest trying games at random - I rediscovered dozens of old favorites that way!

It doesn't sound like the game described in the EVG link but it does seem to fit the description in this topic. Hope it's right but either way good guess Jojo.
