Commodore 64 re-released

I had no idea Commodore still existed.

Commodore USA

They're also coming out with new Amigas. And new Vic computers too.

*EDIT*
Try refreshing the links if they don't work, sometimes it just doesn't load.

Re: Commodore 64 re-released

I don't know if I want to pay $700 dollars for something like this, but it's a neat idea.

Re: Commodore 64 re-released

It's a PC inside a C64 look-a-like keyboard. It runs a C64 emulator on top of Linux or Windows.

It is designed to be used as a full Windows PC.

Right, with the only benefit being the emulator and (if you really cash it) a blue-ray player.

I think it's just eye-appeal. It's sexy, but can it cook?

Designed to run Windows? I kind of hoped Commadore would come back with a new operating system of their own, not just make it a regular PC with an emulator - we can download them for free. I think stick to an original C64 if this is not much more than a PC in disguise. It's good that Comadore are making computers again though and it looks cool though I'll give you that.

Re: Commodore 64 re-released

Never mind Bagel and Guru, I'm tempted by the Amiga's! Need to save up a bit of cash first though...

They are basically [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netbooks]Netbook - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] without monitors in really cool but expensive cases.

Netbooks are slow, cheap, small laptops.
