New Years 2011

So what are you all's plans for tonight? Me I'm going to make some homemade stuffed mushrooms for hors d'œuvre followed by chicken parmesan with spagetti and a spinach and mushroom tomato sauce. Got me a bottle of pinot grigio and merlot for later in the evening. Just the Mrs. our kid and I for the first time as a family at our pad. Set up some candles and go outside to enjoy the fire works that will be on display from a nearby park.

I won't be drinking but I'll be under the influence for sure. Maybe I'll log onto xbox and make some noobs cry to ring in the new year.

No drinking, really!? My folks would at least give me one drink at 12. It must be a culture thing. Us Mexicans sure like to drink up when it's party time

Drinking a 2 Below right now, Fat Tire's winter brew. Awesome beer and 6.6% alcohol is an added bonus. Later, I am also making stuffed 'shrooms. I load mine with herbed goat cheese, wrap them in proscuitto, and bake those puppies till they are molten hot. They are incredible.

After that, it's macadamia crusted rack of lamb and scalloped potatoes with Mrs. Tanc. Plenty of champagne and other drinks afterwards, and I might just have baby Tanc #2 on the way!

Cheers all! Hopefully I'll be around more often in 2011 than I have been at the end of 2010.
