Actually, I think the weirdest Japanese commercial is one for some deodorant or something like that. There are a bunch of guys in a locker room after some big sporting event, and they all smell bad. Bruce Willis (not a lookalike, but the real Bruce Willis) kicks down the door to the locker room wearing an orange jumpsuit, makes the creepiest face ever, then sprays everyone with the deodorant in his magical deodorant sprayer that is on his back.

Actually, it was a commercial for a gas-station chain in Japan, damn I guess I remembered it wrong. It is part of a series of advertisements he did, the one I was referring to is the second one, I am posting both. I remembered the events out of order too, it seems I am losing my memory.

The Bruce Willis ones are funny but the horse birth is weirder for sure.

Man, watching Japanese TV is just like one long acid trip, I swear. I saw a game show on TV there where these dudes were dressed in lobster costumes, and they had to stack a bunch of boogie boards and swim them across a pool. And if you failed you got sprayed in the face with a super soaker, slapped in the face, and pushed back into the pool.

These are the kinds of things that Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are missing.
