Donkey Kong Country

Donkey Kong Country
Well, since there are no Super Nintendo discussions on this board and no discussion on the games I thought I my start off discussing one of my favorite games, Donkey Kong Country. For 1994 this was 3-D graphics, this game was awesome and it marked the return of Nintendo's first star, Donkey Kong. The game was created by Rare and was a huge hit that helped Nintendo beat Sega in the console war due to its revolutionary 3-D graphics. This game is very special to me and I love everything about it, the gameplay, the characters, the graphics, everything is great. This game is awesome and if you have a Super Nintendo and don't have this game, buy it. Oh, yeah and since we're talking about Donkey Kong here, has Kong played this game before?

Re: Donkey Kong Country
Funny this topic was mentioned now. Over the weekend I was cleaning up my storage room and came across a box labeled "Super NES". I had to open this up, so I did and not only did it have all my SNES stuff but my old GameBoy as well. I looked through the carts and DK Country was right there. That game is great, I still haven't found all the secrets in it, but someday I may have to sit down and try.

Re: Donkey Kong Country
Awesome game. Played it all the time. It was pretty easy though, but it is ok because the replay value was (and still is) very high. I might go and play right now.

Re: Donkey Kong Country
Ok, then it is time to get specific. I am going to go play on my console. I am going to grab the cartridge and put it in the console, and play for hours.

Re: Donkey Kong Country
I thought all of the DKC games were great, in the first, Sabby, don't be afraid to fall of edges, I found los of secrets falling down and pushing up against a wall for a secret passage .
