1.3 Primer: Updates

-Stackable items now stack in groups when thrown on the ground individually.

-Armor can now be shift-clicked on and off the player.

-Dispensers can now deploy boats, minecarts, water, and lava.

-Shift clicking enabled for brewing stands and enchantment tables.

-Write in books now. Requires book, feather, and ink sac.

-All four colors of wood slabs and stairs are now available.

-Wood slabs can now catch on fire and are harvested with an ax instead of a pick.

-Book recipes now require a leather as well as 3 sheets of paper.

-Silk Touch now works on ice and glass.

-Chat settings have been added.

-Some entity collision bugs have been fixed.

-Water no longer destroys wheat when dropped on from above.

-Find and grow cocoa plants on jungle trees.

-Cookies now give 1 health bar recovery instead of 1/2.

-Ender chests were added.

-Emeralds were added.

-Villager trading added.

-Buckets and signs are stackable.

-New gravel texture.

-Desert pyramids.

-Re-added the old golden apple.

-Sandstone stairs.

-Boats can pass through lilly pads.

-Players do not collide with passive mobs.

-Chainmail armor can be legitimately gained via villager trading.

-Rain will drip through leaves.

-Cauldrons left outside in the rain may slowly fill up.

-Tripwire and placeable strong added.

-Rarely zombie pigmen will spawn near nether portals in the overworld.

-Jungle temples added.

-Leveling is linear from 0-16 and exponential from 17-30.

-Smelting with lava no longer consumes the bucket.

-Enchanting completely rebalanced.

-Mining coal, restone, lapis, diamond, and emerald will give you experience.

-Wooden pressure plates now detect arrows.

-Other players can now see the cracking texture when a player starts mining a block.

-Boats move faster and drop a boat when broken by the player.

-Levers can be placed on the bottom of blocks.

-Pigs now drop 1-3 chops instead of 0-2.

-Items can be placed on top up upside down half slabs and stairs.

-Pistons are a lot less glitchy but are slightly slower.

-Netherwart can be grown in the overworld and end now.

-Greatly reduced memory usage and performance was boosted.
