Breaking a million.

Ahh the ColecoVision.=} How I love thee....

Anyways here's the deal. Its going to be your job to score at least one million points in either/both Pepper II or Venture. For each one you'll get a badge. You can do either one or both and get two badges. (Score over two million and I'd might even hang out with you.)

You'll need to take a picture of your accomplishment to prove this. To do this first press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. Next open up paint and paste it there. Save and post it here. Voila!

You'll have until the end of the 26th of January (3 weeks) to do this. Good luck!

I'm almost there!

I got 700,000 in Pepper II. I had only lost one life at 600,000, then I lost the rest in a hurry.

Mostly just posting to let you know that I plan on getting at least one badge from this contest. You just wait!

Yeah that's what I'm looking for. The score might reset after zero but I have my ways of checking if its real or not.

Alright after giving Venture a try I've realized the controls are buggy on the site. I'm dropping the Venture points down to half a million.

Cool! I've done that. Just got to do it again. On the controls, are you supposed to be able to move diagonally? Just wondering, I used to have this game for my Intellivision and remember being able to move diagonally.

Yes, that's why they're buggy and is why the game seems a bit more difficult now than it was back then.

I just played them both for the first time. Pepper II was fun. I got 250K my first try.

I didn't like Venture. Partly because of the controls.

I hate Venture so much. I had 345,900 with 5 lives. Then I had 345,900 with no lives.

But I guess it's my fault. I kind of assumed that pressing down made my dude go down, but apparently it makes him stop for four seconds and then go down.

The controls are quirky. You have to completely release one directional button before pressing another or it pauses.

Yeah, I know. It is just frustrating to me. I have played that game at least 20 times and every time I get 300 or 400 thousand points, then lose all my four or five lives in about twenty seconds.

I hate the stupid green things.

Yeah, trying to get into that cross dungeon with the flying ponies is a pain in the neck.

Yeah...I think I am the least upset about that out of anyone on our team.

Probably because I didn't even realize he submitted a score 2 minutes before deadline until someone told me, and by then I had accepted my loss.

Then again, that may be the only game I end up being good enough to win at ever.

I will get that 500,000 in Venture, but I'm afraid if I play too many times in a day I may break my keyboard.

Edit: Haha. Flying ponies. I thought they were unicorns when I saw them until I read 'dragon room.'
