Pac-Man (Arcade)
After many revisions, I'm finally staying this way. I'll try to be more descriptive than I was before.
REVIEWS:
I am basing my score of my reviews by:
Graphics, Gameplay, Controls, Sound, and Replay Value.
Graphics: 3.5/5 (5/5 nostalgic factor)
Though relativity simple-looking, but even back then and today, the graphics of the game are very nostalgic, and are still be stuck in many people's heads for the rest of their lives.
Gameplay: 5/5 (5/5 nostalgic factor)
It popularized the maze genre, as it still being addicted by many gamers who play it to this day. Though repetitive, it's still one of the well-known gameplays out there.
Controls: 5/5
It's basically up, down, left, and right. Niche controls at it's best...there's really nothing to say about it.
Sound: 3.5/5 (5/5 nostalgic factor)
No music (so what?), but all of the sound effects are memorable and fun to listen to, especially when you lose a life...it's stuck in everyone who played this.
Replay Value: 5/5
It's one of those games who play it a lot of times, it doesn't get boring or stupid. The replay value is probably the best replay value for the early 1980s.
Overall: 5/5 = 100%
Despite simple graphics and music (though memorable and fun), it's still a fun game to play, everywhere. No version or expansion of this game can eclipse this game at all.
