Baraduke II
I just thought since I reviewed the original 1985 Baraduke, I thought to go into the Japanese-only sequel Baraduke II...now, let's begin...
GRAPHICS: 5
Way better looking than the original Baraduke, but to me, it's seems more cartoony...for some reason. But for Namco System 1 standards, it looks amazing.
SOUND: 4
It actually has music, but nothing special. As for the sound effects, they're decent...
I only boosted up the score due to having music.
REPLAY VALUE: 4
It doesn't push me to play it as much as the original Baraduke, but it retains most of it.
CHALLENGE: 5 (EXCESS 5!)
Even worse than the original Baraduke, it is kinda more cheaper than the original.
For many things, you only have 1 hit (unless you have the gun turret thing which is an extra hit) and 1 life (unless you do Service Mode)...I know that's annoying.
I mean, imagine playing Baraduke II in real life...that's ridiculous...Also, those things that open to reveal stuff...unlike the original Baraduke, which you had to move out of the way to reveal itself, in this, it immediately opens, making you immediately open to anything.
OVERALL: 4 (actually 3.5)
Despite, being more cheaper than the original, I still like this game. It's fun and it's more fast-paced and I like that. I know one thing, do not play this in real life and only play it on MAME...
