It runs just fine. You can play any flash game with it that requires only a mouse. I think, anyways, they've all worked for me.

I played Super Paper Mario for a bit today. It is pretty cool as well as old school. Not an RPG in the traditional way.
Basically you jump on your enemies just like the old Mario games. The RPG elements are there because some enemies take more than 1 jump to die. YOu get exp when you kill enemies, and when you gain levels you have more power, thus taking less jumps to kill the more powerful enemies.
And it goes from 2D to 3D. I was iffy about that, but it was executed quite nicely.

Nintendo has a penchant for that; announcing something that sounds so ridiculous, but that's implemented so masterfully.

I am playing Super Mario RPG on SNES. I am about half way through and getting bored of it. It is too simple and repetitive.

Aww. That is one of my favorite games, and one of two or three RPGs I ever managed to get all the way through.

Sonic and the Secret Rings disappointed me because people were saying it's awesome on the other forums I go on, but in my opinion, it's a little boring.
BTW, there are more than 20 poe souls.

I just really didn't like how you couldn't turn around how you start running really slow, then you run really fast but then you have to jump over something.

You could turn in some parts... Start running slow - Equip landing boost / dash and do a short jump. Run like the wind!!
Beginning- Mini Turbo , Rocket Boost or Warp boost

Nintendo Wii (Revisited)
I got home after work yesterday and there were two boxes waiting for me with my name on them. I asked my wife where these boxes came from and that I don't remember ordering anything. She told me Happy Early Father's Day, and told me to open them. What happened next blew me away (you have to understand, she doesn't like video games, she has played them, but can obsess over them at times, so she doesn't like them all that much, I think now she has accepted the fact that I am a gamer), in the first box was a Wii and a classic controller, the second had Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, LOZ: Twilight Princess, and Tiger Woods 07, and an extra remote. I was literally in shock. I was speechless. My wife and oldest daughter (she's 6) ordered it on line and picked games they thought I would like.
I've only tried Wii sports, LOZ:Twilight Princess (got through the intro), and Mario Party 8 so far. My daughter and I had a blast playing Party last night, the team option is great.
So, the oldest of the old schoolers has now updated his collection (sorry Ten, but you can't turn down a gift like this). I have skipped a few of the past consoles (hey, the last console I bought was an SNES!!!) But seeing that I can hook up and download some of those other titles, I will be catching up soon enough.
I guess next on the agenda is getting wireless internet and with my wife starting school again, it will probably come sooner than later.

Congrats, Sabby. Your wife sounds like a keeper. I still haven't seen one. I am going to the states in August. Hopefully I'll get my chance then.
