You really don't like good ol' Bayou Billy? This game brings back a lot of memories for me. I've always liked how it combined Beat'em Up with Light Gun and Driving. It was quite unique for its time and is nice and challenging. It's like a nice cross between Duoble Dragon, Gotcha!, and Road Rash. Got to level 4 on my first try! roud:
Guess you just had to be there...

and all I'm saying is bad programming, combined with horrible game control does not make a fun game. The fighting scenes involve you jump kicking everyone, the driving parts are horrible difficult, with the poles and awful control, and the gun fights are a cheap shot special.
Yes its only redeeming quality is it's combination of game play. However it should never be compared to double dragon.

Game of the Week
As you wish Hobbesy. I do think you'd be well served with a refresher course on the first DD though...
Anyways, perhaps a little aide is in order to those who care?
A) You should complete all three practice modes before starting the game. By doing so you will receive an extra life bar for the combat stages, an extra 50 bullets for the light gun stages, and an extra life for the driving stages.
B) Game A will allow you to use the light gun on the shooter stages while Game B will have you moving a cursor and is much harder.
C) This game has nine stages. Stages 1, 3, 6, 8, and 9 are combat stages. Stages 2 and 7 are shooter stages. Stages 4 and 5 are driving stages.
D) This game only has four bosses. Bosses will be found at the end of levels 2, 3, 7, and 9.
E) In the combat stages you can select whether to use your gun or not by pressing the Space Bar.
F) You will die in the shooter stages in you run out of ammo.
G) If you launch a grenade during the driving staes you wont be able to fire until the grenade explodes.

But i got killed by a guy who kept coming towards me so i din't have much chance to use the whip But still i have a good score.
I was lucky on level 4 because i completed the level with ONE SECOND LEFT

Life is hard for Dino-Riki, a kid growing up with the dinosaurs. Dino-Riki can jump or shoot weapons (fireballs, axes, boomerangs, and a super-fire spread-shot) to kill the various enemies around him. He progresses through three types of worlds (land, ruined city, and mountains) and plays through four worlds total. Worlds one, two, and three are one stage each and have checkpoints, but world four is four stages with no checkpoints. At the end of each stage, Dino Riki must face a boss.

Adventures of Rad Gravity!
Quote:
Rad Gravity: A hero blessed with a HAL-style computer with a giant eye, possibly the coolest name ever, a cool spaceship, a, frankly, glorious chin, and a quest to save the Universe (or something along those lines). Hang on, maybe the last one isn't exactly a blessing......
The plot to this game involves our Hero attempting to reactivate some computers that were shut down by the evil Agathos. To do this Rad takes to the stars in his ship (which is controlled by the cyclopean computer mentioned above), and ventures from planet to planet, generally being a hero along the way. Yay Rad!

NEW RULING:
Anyone assumed to have farmed or camped will have their score skipped over when they're tallied at the end of the week. Complaining or attempting to explain your score will not effect the judgment. Thank you.

Assumed? I think it's easy to assume that someone farmed if they kill a rat or two then die, then kill another rat or two and die, and repeat the process til they are dead.
I know I have done that at least once.
Of course if it appears that they killed a rat, got health, killed another rat, and repeated the process, I agree with you whole heartedly.
I think this games sucks pretty hard as a game of the week.
For a few reasons, the main one being that the best way to advance in the game is to avoid all enemies, thus getting no points.

Game of the Week
Example: my Castlevania challenge against Tenser. There was a screen that gave a big treasure chest every time if you knelled in a certain spot. I died on the next screen ever time because I couldn't make the jump. Because I had to repeat it I got the big treasure chest several times. It would have been stupid of me to skip it each time just because I got it the first time through. It can be hard to make judgment calls on things like that especially when you only have a final screen shot and not a movie. Also in the same game - if you kill more than one enemy at once then you get bonus points. I timed most of my kills so that I got the bonus points. I think that is playing the game. Saying it is against the rules will make people not learn all the little tricks in a game that make it special. Finding the tricks is part of the game and should not be against the rules.
Another example - my Binary Land high score is on a lower level than second place because I got every bonus along the way. I had to go out of my way to get those bonuses. Some might consider that farming because I did not head straight for the exit. I think it is trying to get the highest score possible fair and square.
Third example - my Aces High high score is borderline cheating. I just sat there and bet the house over and over until it played out in my favor. If that was a contest and someone else did it I would want to disqualify them for taking the fun out of the game. BTW I am going to delete that game soon so if you want to play it - now is your chance.
I played Dino Riki several times. I did roughly the same every time - got near the lily pond - a little more or a little less - but my score was sometimes drastically different. I do not know why or how but sometimes I would do something that gave me big extra points. If I figured out what it was that gave me those points then you better bet I am going to try my best to get those points every single time I play. If the other players do not find it (and if the screen did not scroll) then it would be assumed I had farmed.
My point is farming gives you an unfair advantage and is not fun. If one person does it then everyone else has to do it in order to compete on the same level. This ruins the fun for everyone. So no one should be allowed to do it during a contest. But be careful when accusing because it is possible that they just know something that you do not.

I completely understand where you two are coming from. But you'll have to trust me on two accounts. I'm the Contest Mod and I more than likely know the NES better than anyone else here.
I do promise to think about my decisions before I make any.

Agreed. Also you have a short window to submit your score after you die before it disappears. And the game is not very fun and the controls are not great.

ARRRRRGGGGGGHGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
That was venting. I just scored almost 100,000 points on a level I have never gotten to. I went down a flight of stairs that killed me. I had no idea that I was dead, I thought the game was lagging. I didn't realize I was dead until I saw the game over screen and could no longer submit my score!
