Kill la Kill is just ridiculous. It is definitely reminiscent of Gurren Lagann, but the plotline is bizarre and seems to be just an excuse to get the cast more and more scantily clad as the series goes on. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it was almost impossible to take seriously.

My favorite anime shows are Digimon, One Piece, Ronin Warriors, Sailor Moon, Medabots, Beyblade, Yu Gi Oh, and Duel Masters. I also like the Dragon Ball series which includes Z, Kai, GT, and Super.

Wanted to bump this just because Kono-Subarashi is great in a completely not serious way.

Also Youjo Senki is absolutely amazing. Give it a watch. Give it at least 2 episodes (even though I was hooked after finishing the first one)
