With such well armed neighbors just over the border, what more would Canada need anyway?
For instance, if {and you know this will likely never happen} some country were {stupid enough}to attack the US, and Armed Forces started shooting at the invaders, Canada would be safely covered by all the shots that missed - that's how much firepower the US has.

Because a large percentage of Americans believe Mexico is just Hell's armpit. That Mexico is nothing but a desert where narcotics and illegal immigrants that want to steal their jobs come from.

@Elrod: There are tons of all-you-can-drink resorts and casinos in the US as well.

Well I know for a fact several states currently don't allow it. Hawaii being one of them. Which ones do you know of?

I am not talking feeding the slot machines and getting free drinks either. I mean while on resort I can walk up to the Bar and order a drink no extra charge.
