Hi.

I made a mistake... I don't know how, but i've selected the bad nickname to submit my score in pole position...

I submitted a score of 47820 for omegashadow instead of me. I tried to submit a new of 0 for him but it doesn't work.

Sorry. Can someone change it. I don't know if he had a score before ?

I submitted my score with my correct nickname.

Now, the channel should be working during the contest. I finally understood how to manage the settings. I was using 2 screens but for streaming I need to use only 1 screen or there are too many slowdowns to record with wolfmame.

Hats in the ring now that I found time. Just as quickly done though (for tonight). Was blasting music whilst playing. Went to reset after effing up. Heard my computer making a loud rattling noise. Immediately shut off pc and made sure it was alright. Should be. Not doing it now, but was scary for sure.

Just a fan out of alignment I think.

Unless anyone else has ideas, from the location it was coming from it would seem fan or Power supply fan.

Anyways. Fun to be doing this again, although Outrun just makes me wish I was playing Top gear 3000, as they are quite similar in gameplay, but Top Gear is better.

Guys, what´s the best Analog Controls for Pole Position? To Dial, Acelerator and Break? I´ve tried a lot of combinations, but did not work. Someone could help me, please?

This is still an emulation issue. I've never seen that happen on the actual arcade board, but I remember shortly after the game was first made playable in MAME I had the exact same thing happen in the last stage - tried to walk up an incline, fell through the floor for no reason and died. Now I tend to just keep jumping because I'm too nervous to actually walk up it.

Even in recent versions of MAME it's still screwy. I was using 0.156 and sometimes on ground declines you start to get "stuck" for a second like it wants you to free fall to the ground instead of just walking. Actually lost a life because of that stupid stutter fall too.
