You're right, we certainly could

Here's a video that shows the bonus, note at 3 minutes the score goes from 4 million to 24.5 million.

That doesn't look too bad. With a little practice i don't see why i couldn't break 15m+. Looks like a fun game, too.

Oh it's definitely a fun beat-em-up. But regardless of how difficult it looks, just one person getting a score like that is going to make everybody's else percentage ratings for the game tank unless they beat the true last boss too, which is kind of asking a lot out of everybody that plays it.

I like Cadillacs & dinosaurs but I have no idea if it's exploitable. Capcom beat'em ups usually aren't.

Also, Wild West Cow is a great game and it doesn't have any areas that are exploitable. It has a set number of enemies on screen and more will only show up if you progress. But it's on the easy side so this game will probably get a lot of clears.

would Osman/Cannon Dancer really be considered a beat-em-up? Like Strider it's more of a platformer.

No. I don't think max did anything much after the last couple weeks. I have several scores that have not been reviewed that were submitted prior to the deadline.

An order of congratulations to, maxh.

He obviously used submitting last minute scores better than me. Cant fault him for that. I was babysitting so the final hours were pretty much impossible.

Seems like the retro gods didnt want me to repeat. Bbh came at the wrong time. I had mentiond after wolfs last tourney that i would go on hiatus and this time it is true.

There is nothing left in the tank. Actually playing these games was a chore. Not enjoyable.

Anyhow, not taking anything away from anyone but i have a few critiques.

1. I know ru has been short-staffed so not much could be done as people have their lives. This made things really shitty as bbh mentiond for seeing who is where.

2. Viewing who submitted scores has a horrible layout but im sure this will be addressed when the site is revamped.

3. I dont know if this is a donor feature but its really lame when someone blocks their online status. What is there to hide? Makes it hard if one needs to bother playing.

This also tied into point number 2.

I think it might be tied to hiding your avatar. In this picture there is no display of avatar but he has one.

The last activity should be showing where the red "circle" is.

Click on any other profile and it shows last activity. I think this also somehow hides them from everything else. Because i never see this user anywhere on the home page or games page. Since IGBY.

And forgive me for being vocal on wanting to repeat. In the end I lost. I can't place blame on anything other than myself, but for the sake of wanting to repeat (a personal goal you guys have those, right?) I was under the assumption he wasn't playing anymore due to no activity and the fact that i have no idea when he is on.

Some day i'll be as righteous as you lot. But, alas, with all the time im wasting my final day before i go back to 13-hour work days. Having this much time is so much fun.

It's definetly worth discussing, not knowing when someone is playing while they can see you is a disadvantage. Not a huge one, but it is something.

That's why I think it is relevant. I can understand why tif brought up the issue, if I spent a whole year fighting for scores then I would be upset if I was mislead into believing my competition was not putting up new scores.

Granted he should not have let up regardless of what he believed, but it is an issue worthy of discussion. I don't think the hiding online status feature should be implemented at all, what purpose does it serve other than hiding the fact you are playing games?
