Pot cookie project cancelled, and of course there's a story to it:
The spent material doesn't taste so good and the cookies ended up being regular chocolate chip.
While making the cookies I decided to use my stove oven instead of my little toaster oven which sees the most use.
BAD idea - it turns out it's been
quite a while since I used my stove oven and a lot of material had found its way inside since then.
Damn near started a fire and
ruined 1/3 of the cookies!!
Into the toaster oven the rest went and despite the fact I had to make more batches all turned out well.
Then I found out I don't really
like chocolate chip cookies much anymore in my old age and ended up giving them away.
Seems like the older I get, the less I like sweets.
Odd since from what I've seen it usually goes the other way.
