You might want a float rules member in case one of the rulings in questions involves a member on the rules committee, even if the chance is highly unlikely.

Well, that was quick! So the committees are as follows:

SCORE COMMITTEE: Sabby, Hobbes

RULES COMMITTEE: Sabby, Tanc24, Kong

I will have the first tournament instructions set up in a new thread this weekend so we can get this ball rolling. Those looking on, wanting to join in on the fun, you still have time to do so to get in on the first tournament. If there are any questions, once again, throw them on the table now. Hopefully, this will go smoothly with very few hitches:thumright:

We should determine a time frame now. How long will you have to get in your score? One week? How many times can you submit your score? Just once?

OK, there are 2 days left to sign up for the first tournament. Get in on the best video game golf tournament on Retro Uprising(well, the only golf tournament on RU).

I've followed the link and begun practicing a little bit. Good choice for the first game. Very easy interface.

Do we use that same link when we actually begin tournament play? Are we relying on the "honor" system and letting people access the game at their leisure and submit their score when they are ready?

If so, that's fine by me. Golf is all about honor and sportsmanship, so...

Did anyone see the guy who won the Honda Open this weekend

Dude gave HIMSELF a 2 stroke penalty after his caddy accidentally gave advice to another golfer (a violation of the rules). Well, Karma caught up to that guy pretty quick.

He made it to the sudden-death playoff (sinking a miracle 40 footer!) and then won the tourney on the 3rd playoff hole. Very cool stuff!

Yes, use the same link for the tournament. I think we all decided to be on the honor system with this one, so no worries there, I trust all that are involved. If you feel your going to be dishonest, make a movie and a screenshot.

As for the Honda Open, I didn't watch, but I heard about the gut that won, but I didn't hear about the self-imposed penalty. That is something.
