No mention of the enormous bags of fresh water being towed to China?

Time to buck the trends! The first right-winger of the topic!
Frankly, it just confirms what I've considered myself for quite some time now (a Conservative Libertarian). I'm a little surprised I'm not further down the Libertarian scale. Oh, well.
Take cigarettes for example; they tell kids they're deadly and run expensive anti - smoking PSA's and ads, but still continue to sell them, while the entertainment industry continues to portray smoking as sexy or cool.
The government isn't selling the cigs. They may be getting lobby money to back off but that's not the same thing.
Does the government run anti smoking ads? The ones I see seem to be from independent groups or health organizations.
Name a recent major hollywood movie that portrays smoking as cool, or even has a major character smoking. Now days it's unusual to see someone smoke in a typical movie or tv show unless it's some indie art house project or trying to be one.
The only example I can think of atm is Looper. I excuse that one because the main character and the people around him are portrayed as druggies anyways.

You might be shocked to hear how many people sincerely believe that there are no morals without some form of faith. That's why a muslim would get elected president before an atheist in the US despite the surge of hatred towards them since 9/11.

But even then it still doesn't accurately explain anything. It's all mumbo jumbo and intentionally vague so it fits almost everyone. I had a relative who was very into this and they even made birth charts for the kids. It was just embarrassing. Now that Pluto isn't a planet anymore and we found countless other similar bodies the whole astrology business is destroyed, or should be if the supporters had any sense of honesty.
