I don't know. You're really missing out as you never know until you try it.

I pretty much lived with my grandparents from my mother's side. They were both WWII escapees, my grandmother being German and my grandfather being French. Both loved to cook so I grew up with a pretty open mind to food. Guess it's just how you're raised.

I am very picky about food. I have no problem admitting that. For the record my immediate family is the opposite so your comment about being raised that way is baseless.

We're big on organic, local, and unprocessed. All of our meat comes from Bowman's which is our local butcher. Place has been in the family for over 100 years now.

I'm a big guy and I like to eat but what I do eat is almost always a lot healthier for me than what most Americans eat. I've only had fast food three times in my life.

For the record you don't know the meaning if the word baseless. My comment is based upon personal experience and thus can not be without base.

My wife and son are also very picky eaters while I love to try new things. As I said, I think it comes down to how you are raised, not what tastes your parents have.

Fine, baseless in regards to me. I was raised by people who tried to encourage me to try new stuff all the time but I didn't want to. I'm not sure if they would've eaten raw meat but if it was prepared right they'd consider it I bet.
