I was playing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie: The Game: The Book on GEN, and I was instantly transported to my younger days - even though this was my first time playing it.
I remember fondly playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time constantly on my SNES, specifically when I was in elementary school (sometime in the 1st grade, I believe?). I had a play I was in, a rather big part in the story, and I didn't really want to go because I was near the end, pretty much already at Super Saiyan Shredder. But I also wanted to actually be in the play. Luck was on my side, as I was sick and couldn't go anyways, so I got to lay in my bed and play Turtles in Time to the end on my SNES on a small television screen.
I would rent a few games every weekend, go to a friend's house and stay up all weekend beating them. We would take turns sleeping and watch the sun rise and then plan how we would make the best video game ever.
One memory I have is my brother and I being obsessed with Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I think we got it for christmas one year. I remember him trying to skip my turns so he could get to his own quicker. "Don't worry I played your turns for you" is not very reassuring.
We also had an epic clash about Sun Quan. We agreed to not fight each other until we were the last two rulers on the map. But once Sun Quan appeared we both went for him. He got him first and the war started. I distinctly remember a battle where he lit the entire map on fire and destroyed me with Tashi Ci. I lost the war.

I still have Romance of the Four Kingdoms IV on my SNES. Never really understood what everything meant. That and my troops were just never trained enough no matter what I did
I remember coming home to a GB with a shattered screen because my brother got frustrated at the game so he layed it up against the wall and drove his heel into.
I remember I was playing Super Street Fighter Turbo on my SNES on the most difficult settings and was one hit away from beating the game when suddenly my chicken jumped up on my foot, distracting me to the point where M. Bison defeated me. I was soo mad I swung my controller at my chicken, missed it and totally smashed my controller into 40 different pieces.
I cried at the end of Crystal Chronicles for the DS, it does not get sadder than that, forget Bambi, forget that movie with Owen Wilson and the dog, the end of CC was the saddest thing I can remember.

But yeah SH crying at the end of Megaman Zero 4?! You gotta know haters gonna hate.
I remember watching my older cousin play through Ocarina of Time when it first came out, and when I played the game, Redeads were the worst thing ever.
what, were you playing near concrete in a barn? i throw my snes controller all the time and have yet to break it lol
Inside my living room. It's not strange to see farm animals in the neighborhood I grew up in. I hit the leg of the sofa when I went all Indiana Jones with my SNES controller. That, and I'm a strapping dude.
