Re: Demo Discs
The Demo's were great when they came out. It really let you see if a game was of interest to you or not before spending money on rentals or purchase.
Definitely avoided some stinkers that way.

I was just gonna mention Intelligent Cube. I only played that as a demo but it seemed awesome. I never saw it for retail sale though. Too late to enjoy it now I suppose.

Re: Demo Discs
@DB: I think I might still have the demo with Intelligent Qube around here somewhere. If you'd like it I'll go look for it.

@DB: I'm sure you can find it on ebay or something. It is a really fun game.

Re: Demo Discs
I had the demo with Intelligent Qube on it as well, and I THINK I had the full game as well. Loved that game.
And I loved those Playstation demos. Half of the gaming I did on my Playstation was demos. Rascal, Crash Bash, Spyro, Hot Shots Golf, that snowmobile game...
Good times.

Re: Demo Discs
We all seemed to have had the same demo disc, the ps musta packed it in for quite awhile.
Another great game that was on it was Tomba, that was the closest a demo disc came to convincing me to buy something.

I had a lot of demo discs for the Playstation. I remember then sending them in the mail every few months. I don't remember all the games I had demos for, but it was a lot.
And yes, Tomba was awesome.
