Favorite and Least Favorite Presidents
Top Five Favorite Presidents
1. Thomas Jefferson
2. Warren G. Harding
3. Grover Cleveland
4. Calvin Coolidge
5. John Tyler
Top Five Least Favorite Presidents
1. Abraham Lincoln
2. Woodrow Wilson
3. Franklin D. Roosevelt
4. Harry Truman
5. George W. Bush
Why isn't Barack Hussein Obama on the list? Because I'm waiting for him to serve out the remainder of his first term. It wouldn't be fair to list him already, but it's tempting.

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Presidents
You forgot to list the middle names of the other 10 presidents you mentioned. I wonder why you chose to list Obamas.
I hope you realize this just shows how petty you are about politics. Take a break once in a while, it's not supposed to rule your life you know.

If you read carefully, I specifically said that I didn't put Obama on the list because he hasn't finished his first term. Secondly, I am very interested in politics, and it's okay that I have fun discussing it. Plus, it's nice to educate myself in case I want to get involved in public activism or run for office. Hearing what other people have to say is a good way to do that. It makes me think about my principles carefully.

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Presidents
Sure you were at least pretending to give Obama the benefit of the doubt by leaving him off the list but you couldn't resist adding his middle name in there. You obviously put Obamas middle name in that post because you have an issue with it. Like I said, why did you leave out 10 other middle names and include Obamas? Obviously because it's muslim and you think that matters. I called you petty because that's what you're being. His middle name is unimportant, just like the rest of the presidents you listed.

I could care less if Obama was a Muslim or a Jew or an atheist.

How are any of the presidents I listed "unimportant?"

Then why did you list his middle name and not the ten other presidents? This is the second time I'm asking btw. Three if you count the implied question in my first post.

I didn't say any of them were, I said their middle names are just as unimportant as Obamas.

I didn't feel like typing out Gamaliel or Delano for reasons being that I wasn't sure of the spellings, and didn't feel like looking them up on Google at the time.

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Presidents
I think this is hard to do with out being an expert in American history and knowing all of their accomplishments and mistakes in context of the time, information and power and options they had and all of the secrets that people have tried to hide from us about them.
So instead I will rate them things I have heard them say
Favorite quotes from presidents
#1 Thomas Jefferson
#2 Dwight Eisenhower
Least favorite quotes form presidents
# 1 Bush Jr.

Bush Jr. and Nixon are the worst, as for the best, FDR.

Oh come on now, you didn't know the spelling of Delano but you know Hussein? I find it very unlikely that you apparently know so much about history and politics and you somehow can't remember what the D stands for in FDR?
So if I follow your logic you'd write out all the middle names if you knew how to spell them? That doesn't make sense.
Btw are you also saying you don't know or can't spell George W Bushs middle name, really? Walker isn't easier than Hussein? Sorry to beat a dead horse but this seems pretty transparent to me.

No it wasn't. It's used to sensationalize Obama because some people can't get over the fact that he's black and has a muslim sounding name. It just so happens that Hussein is his middle name, we all know why that's notable.
MichelleHeart might've dropped it in there without thinking but I highly doubt it.

I figured it was intentional, because she would have added Walker and Delano for the proper presidents, if she wasn't trying to make a point.

Yeah, he does. Nixon is the worst though. Clinton was a decent president, just a bit liberal in terms of women, if you know what I mean.

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Presidents
lol, and I think Buchanan was probably the worst, mainly because while states were seceding left adn right (mainly south) he just sat there and did nothing to try to stop them and keep the country together.

It says in the constitution that the government is in the hands of the people, so by extension the south had every right to secede from the union.
Oh, and Watergate was pretty messed up, and it was the fault of Nixon.

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Presidents
They may have had the right to, but that doesnt mean they should have. They had had control of the government for years, and the second their domocrats lose control, they have to secede? Mabey they had the right to, but seriously, they had no justified reason to.

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Presidents
Look, I've heard of worse presidents than GW Bush, okay. I'm not saying you have to like him. But for those who disrespect Lincoln, I would like to know what he did that would make him one of the worst. The man kept our nation together under circumstances that would tear our nation apart today. Another favorite is FDR.
