The Rules
Beat a high score from 2007 and you will automatically receive points in this contest.
You can find old high scores on this list Oldest High Scores
You will receive 1 point for every day old the score is. Example if the score was set 900 days ago then you will receive 900 points.

The reason for this contest:
We have the ability to verify that any score set after June of 2010 did not use any cheating. There are a couple thousand first place scores that were set before that date. Most of those old scores are legit but a few of them did cheat or otherwise break the rules. Also there were different score rules back then that are in conflict with some of the modern rules.

We don't want to just delete all of those scores but we also don't want people competing against what might not be a legit score.

So I am creating this contest to see which scores seem impossible and which scores we can assassinate.

If no one beats the score and it looks like a rule of some sort was broken, then the score will be deleted.

The prize:
Whoever has the most points will receive this traveling badge next to their username

Does it make a difference in InsectorX if you use the boy or the girl?

It seems to me the game is going to be much easier with the girl and is also how the current hi-score was obtained. (The girl starts with auto=fire and a spread shot unlike the boy.)

Sqoon score beaten. Tenser definitely didn't cheat, but then again he doesnt' seem like the type.

Thanks ER! The female one. You're right. It is a bit easier to start with the Shebee, but I like the male one as well once he gets a couple of power-ups.

I think Championship Bowling itself cheats. There are 2 frames it seems even if you throw the same ball that you have been for strikes, it will not give you a strike.

I've bowled a 257 three times, a 256, and a 255. The frames I did not strike were the same every time.

I've beaten this before in Java, you'd love it more if the score you just beat was all glitchy and the amount of bugs you need is 'A' huh?

Yeah it's better. See what happened was I posted that the game was annoying me, went back to it, and about 3 games in I finally got a higher score.

I must have spent 3+ hours over the last 2 days trying to beat sabby's score

It just pissed me off because you can throw the same shot over and over for strikes, then throw the same shot again and it'll randomly decide you don't get a strike.

Well it was on Marble Mayhem which is a Flash game, so I don't know how you could tell for that. Plus, I got the same score twice, so I think it may be the highest possible score or it could be just luck.
