Offense tries to advance as far as they can towards the goal line. However, defense is ready to stop you with as many as 183 starting formations and as many as 133,407 plays they're trying to get yardage and win the game too! Size up each play slyly, yet quickly, and make a charge for the goal line! The game gradually gets harder as you get better. You start playing high school, then college, then pro, then play off, and finally Super Bowl level football.
Come up with game-winning strategies and nice moves for both offense and defense. So get on the gridiron and fight, fight, fight!

Take off from a carrier in the fateful year of 1942 and island-hop through 32 increasingly daunting levels, culminating in aerial combat over Tokyo. Gameplay in this overhead shooter is simple: blast enemies, snag power-ups and avoid collisions before re-landing on your flattop.
If you mow down planes in a formation, you'll receive one of six different power-ups, beginning with the double machine gun. Another power-up will obliterate all on-screen enemies.
As you advance on Tokyo, you'll be faced with bigger and badder swarms of enemy craft. Evade troublemakers by pressing the A Button to loop. It's best to avoid ambushes by staying near the screen's center. |

You are the Daring Super Ace and are engaged in realistic, thrilling, and challenging high flying battles with the enemy. You must control Super Ace over land, sea, and in the air through 32 different scenes. To win you must reach Tokyo and destroy the remaining enemy aircraft.
If you can destroy a complete attacking RED FORMATION you will gain additional power. A POW will appear on the screen after their defeat and you must fly over the POW to gain additional power. When enemy shots hit Super Ace; you lose one plane. If Super Ace hits one of the secret enemy bombers a pinwheel will appear on the screen and you will get an additional 5,000 points when you fly over it. Don't forget when there are too many enemy aircraft you can "Loop the Loop."

The player (the American 'Super Ace') pilots a plane, and has to shoot down enemy planes. Besides shooting, the player can also perform a 'loop-the-loop' to avoid enemy fire. |

Help our fleet defeat the enemy.
The NES version varies from the arcade version somewhat, introducing the gradual improvement of the player's plane by several "augmenting" power-ups that never go away. These include the plane's offensive and defensive powers, the energy level, its special weapons and their durations. This somewhat alters the game balance and a different tactic is required to survive the game. For example, initially very few weapons are made available; more can be attained from power-ups by putting statistic points into "special weapons ability". Likewise, there are statistics for offensive ability, defensive ability, total energy, and special weapon time limit. The statistics modify the rates of change for the energy reserve, damage inflicted, and special weapon time limit.

This update of "1943 - The Battle of Midway" was only released to arcades in Japan; it was only released in the US to home systems. "1943 Kai - Midway Kaisen" has different graphics and gameplay and is slightly harder than the original.

It also did not have a series structure, similar to many humorous cartoons and sitcoms. (i.e. the show does not follow a continuous storyline, what happens in one episode has little to no effect on another).
2 Stupid Dogs was the beginning of the successful revival of Hanna-Barbera's fortunes, since the studio had not launched a bona fide hit since The Smurfs in 1981. |

This is a game based on the movie, 2010: The Year We Made Contact.
You are an astronaut aboard the Discovery and need to repair its systems before it crashes into Jupiter's moon, Io. Time is limited so do not dawdle or the Discovery will be destroyed.
You move the reticule over a trouble spot and press the A button to begin repairs. You must then select a path for the power to run so it powers all the components on that circuit board then move on.
If the floating ring touches a component while you are at it or you create a feedback loop, you will damage the component and will need to repair it before you can continue, costing you time.
Sometimes, you will need to return to a circuit to repair a component then restart it. |

The game comes with a rumble pack to give you that ''off road'' feeling. There are several racing modes, including patrol mode, where you as a cop have to chase down the other cars. Or you can race in Tournament mode, and win money, powerups, and new tournaments. |
