Take off from a carrier in the fateful year of 1942 and island-hop through 32 increasingly daunting levels, culminating in aerial combat over Tokyo. Gameplay in this overhead shooter is simple: blast enemies, snag power-ups and avoid collisions before re-landing on your flattop.

If you mow down planes in a formation, you'll receive one of six different power-ups, beginning with the double machine gun. Another power-up will obliterate all on-screen enemies.

As you advance on Tokyo, you'll be faced with bigger and badder swarms of enemy craft. Evade troublemakers by pressing the A Button to loop. It's best to avoid ambushes by staying near the screen's center.

You're a skateboarder in Skate City, one of the largest skate parks ever built. Ollie off of ramps, grind on rails, and swerve past pedestrians as you bust out tricks. Visit skate shops scattered around the park to upgrade your gear and improve your skills. Participate in competitions to earn medals and cash to use in the shops. But, if you don't get to a competition in time, the infamous "Skate Or Die" message appears, and then you have to hurry!

The last All-Star Baseball on the N64 once again includes some new features as well as improvements to previous play modes and options. For 2001, a new team is included, The Cooperstown Legends, featuring a selection of some of the finest players to every grace the MLB, including Yogi Berra, Willie Stargell and Reggie Jackson.

Along with the legends team, you can choose from every player, team and stadium in the 2000 MLB season. Each player includes realistic facial expressions and looks, plus motion captured player movements, batting stances and reactions to key events during play.

From the hit movie, Antz, comes a side-scrolling adventure where you play Z, and you set out to win the heart of Princess Bala.  Each of the 19 levels you explore are taken from situations in the movie.  Your character has a variety of actions: crouching down, going through tunnels, hiding from enemies, jumping over obstacles, hanging from trees, climbing ropes and more.  You also encounter "boss" characters to keep the game exciting.  Simple gameplay and easy controls make it ideal for children and older platform lovers as well.

There are very few portable futuristic racers that manage to capture the essence of a high-speed race in the pinnacle of the express. Developers often run amok of ideas, as mankind really has no idea of what racing games will be like in the future. Will we be driving propulsion-energized vehicles, jetpacks, or what not? Armada FX Racers is a small attempt at a futuristic racing game that makes use of plasma-energized vehicles, which must scale around a track. Rather than simply different racers, you'll be facing up to six different race-based vehicles, each with their advantages/disadvantages. This over-the-head racing game features your vehicle as a small sprite (but not like a mini-kart), in which you have to guide your vehicle on the narrow track, while maintaining a finishing place of 1st (or 2nd, depending on the requirements). After each race, an alien lifeform will come down to interrupt, and you must race it as well (but continually ram it to bring its life bar down). The racer who does the most damage to the alien creature receives the victory for defeating it.

This is basically how Armada FX Racers plays out. Aside from that, it features extremely varied/colorful graphics that truly stand out, almost to a SNES game. Music is alright, slightly repetitive. Unfortunately, all of this comes at the cost of a somewhat sluggish frame rate when all four racers are competing. The frame rate reduces greatly when the amount of racers lowers, but it's still a noticeable problem. The storyline is simplistic. Several racers from the Armada Galaxy have decided to group together and race against each other as a competition to see who is the most dominant racer. Along the way, you'll have to defeat various forms of the Armada race, who try to cause chaos amongst the various planets. In the end, you must unite with your fellow riders to destroy these cursed creatures.

You play as the green army leader, Sarge. As the green army you must fight the evil forces of the tan, blue and gray armies. Complete various missions on this twist on real-time strategy/action gaming.

Unlike Activision's earlier remake of an Atari arcade classic, Battlezone, this one stays close to its namesake.  Take the original, Atari coin-op game Asteroids, add in the features of the Atari 2600 cartridge, then give it 3-D graphics and a bunch of power-ups, and you've got Activision's Asteroids remake.

You are an employee of the Astro-Mining Corporation.  Your mission is to simply go to an assigned area of space and clear the area of asteroids and the occassional debris.  The game consists of five zones, each with a different background and some with special features.  Each zone has 15 levels.  In addition to the standard asteroids, there are also mined asteroids that explode; indestructible asteroids that are, well, indestructible; fireball comets; crystal asteroids that regenerate; alien egg asteroids containing deadly baby space worms; and ancient energy asteroids that shoot back!  And there's plenty of enemies in addition to the asteroids, such as Standard and Super Saucers, Asteroids Tugs, Fuel Transports, Hexes, Nuke Drivers, and Vulturoids.

There are three types of ships to choose from, each with different strengths and weaknesses.  There are also three skill levels.  If you beat the game at Expert or higher, you gain access to a fourth type of ship.  All ships features the standard laser, shield, flip (instantly flips your ship 180 degrees), and hyperspace.  There are also limited power-ups you can  pick up such as GunSat, Mines, Homing Missiles, Plasma Drill, and Trigger Bombs.

The game supports either one or two players.  In two player mode, the object is to simply outscore your opponent in a random zone and level.  You cannot directly kill your opponent by shooting him, but there are other ways....

Lastly, if you shoot the classic-style asteroid in level 15 of the first zone, you'll find the option of "Classic Asteroids" now appearing on the main menu.

The huge Monster Tower stands near the village Monsbaiya. It is populated by vicious monsters, and few dare enter it. But the monsters in the tower lay eggs, and whoever takes possession of such an egg, can tame a monster which will come out of it, and those monsters, called "familiars", will help their tamers in times of danger. Some brave adventurers dared to enter the tower and to take the eggs. One of them was called Guy. He was killed in the monster tower. Now his son Koh is fifteen, and he is allowed to try his luck in the tower.

You control Koh and his party of "familiars" in this unusual "monster-taming" RPG. You must capture the eggs from the tower, bring them home, grow monsters and tame them. During battles, you assign different commands to them. Different species have different abilities and need different approach. The battles system is a mixture of real time and turn based combat. Unlike most other console RPGs, there are no special battle screens.
