This one has some real challenging puzzles, but it's ALL using the booklet. And as you may have noticed from the lack of music, it's almost completely 2-XL saying "Turn me off, do this puzzle at your own pace, and then turn me back on and I'll check your work."

General Information was the pack in tape distributed with 2-XLs from 1978 until 1981.

Since it's one of (if not the) very first 2-XL programs ever made, 2-XL's delivery is a little stiffer than usual, but he still goes out of his way to try to make himself your new best friend.

The booklet is used quite a bit, and 2-XL checks your work on almost all of the pages he sends you to. Since it's the introductory program, the book also has a page on 2-XL himself and how to take care of him.

The More Information button is used on this one for the actual clip of Neil Armstrong's words as he descends the ladder of the Apollo 11 Eagle to step foot on the moon.

This tape was made exclusively for stores to use to promote 2-XL.

The 2-XL floor models were usually set up at the electronics counter or at an endcap, with this specially made tape. In many ways it's similar to General Information, but it uses different questions. It also makes repeated mentions of the other 2-XL programs available. (ie, "This question comes from my "Science Fiction program," etc.)

The tape runs about 5-7 minutes shorter than a regular tape. 2-XL assumes he's just met you off the street, and ends it with a chipper "Goodbye, now! Have a nice day!"

This is quite possibly the most rare 2-XL tape of all. Since they were floor models, they were played over and over and over until they wore out and literally could not play anymore.
