How about Peach from Super Mario RPG? I mean, she was just worthless.
Best healer in the game, and (at least, for me, as we may have stumbled across different equipment) she keeps up by doing more than half of Mario's damage. TBH I never cared much for Geno, as the zoom shoes felt like they put anyone on his level.

I know, but I don't care much for healers. For me mallow was infinetely better.
Oh sure, he says 'Ok' at the start of the mission, but what he does is get into trouble and then start calling for help continuously.

Call me mean if you like but the only way I got any peace was to shoot him down myself so he'd finally shut up and let me enjoy the game.
Moved this to "All other games" since it's gaming related. It's not a big deal but I think it fits better here.
His special ability was flee. He wasn't strong or useful. I know he was improved in other versions but to me he will always been a loser. A spoony bard if you will.
Mitsuru from Persona 3 because her AI was stupid, and in the non-portable versions you couldn't directly control party members.
Sure, she had good stats and learns good healing spells relatively early on, but she kept using a pretty worthless spell that inflicted a pretty worthless status ailment, even on bosses, all of which were immune to it.
