Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I'm an above average Sniper.
My problem is that I under-aim and hit right behind running targets.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I like sniper, but I'm not great. I'd say I'm about average, unless I'm using the huntsman, I'm terrible with it.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I'm good enough with sniper to switch to it, headshot a couple snipers and then switch back. I do that sometimes when the other noobs on my team can't handle it and the enemy is freely standing there sniping. Sometimes you gotta make them feel unsafe or they'll dominate the map.

I thought this game was already free but Steam told me today that it just went free to play. Either way it looks right up our alley being retro themed and multiplayer-

It also has permadeath, beware!
@TF2- I now have 5 of the foundry achievements, two more to go. I can get one easy just by winning a bunch of matches. The 7th will be a problem, maybe. Unless I can get 5 of you guys to join me I'll have to work for it.

I just got the Righteous Bison for the soldier. It's pretty useful.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
A lot of people don't seem to like the Homewrecker, but I ruin the lives of supposedly-clever spies by knocking off their sappers and destroy engineer buildings without wasting ammo.
Another thing I love-- the Wanga Prick, if only for it's name.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I like the Homewrecker but I only recently got one so I wasn't able to use it yet. It's definitely a must have for any good Pyro. The other melee options are for stupid stuff like achievements or showing off.
That's a cool prick, if I liked spy I'd want one.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I got a Spycicle recently, it's handy because it makes me fire proof
for 2 seconds, with the only problem being if I backstab someone they
turn to ice, which isn't much of a problem to begin with.
The Wanga Prick is the same as the Eternal Reward, I've tried it and
thought it was a fine alternative to standard knife, but the main problem
is that if you miss the backstab, you're exposed.
You can backstab an engineer before his sentry kills you with an Eternal Reward.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
It makes you fireproof? I didn't get that from it, pretty cool. But it also melts and needs to regen if caught on fire. Plus the big obvious ice body alerts people to your presence. I got one recently too and I plan on using it, just to show off.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
If I had the Eternal Reward, I'd probably play as spy more often.
I like how it disguises you instantly.

I like it makes the kills obvious, it really adds to my strategy of
scaring the enemy. I also added a spray that says "Enemy Spy was Here".
It really works, the other players go crazy looking for me, making
it easier for my teammates to capture points.

Do it! TF2 is a great game that everyone on Steam should play.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
@DM- I had to google it too and I honestly forget how to do it now. This page might help but it might not. Also keep in mind some servers disable sprays so if you try it and don't see something it's probably not your fault.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
There's a couple games I want so I'll get myself an account pretty quickly. I doubt I'll have any multiplayer games or even if I did they would be anythong most of you would be interested in.
