Last year I laughed at PSN and Xbox Live going down. Now I guess the shoe is on the other foot.

I was really stoked on it until I saw the awful graphics and realized it's realistically just a wonky port of an already wonky ios port.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
Found a cool free to play game you guys should check out. It's turn based strategy and it has some nice coop. Since it's ftp it has a cash shop but you can earn currency by completing quests or achievements. Also it has very little PvP to speak of so pay to win shouldn't be a concern anyways.

If there are 11 then I need one more for a set. Is there an easy way to find out which one I need?

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
When you open the Steam app you see Store, Library, Community and your name in the upper left. Hover over your name and then go to Badges. It should show the event badge progress right at the top. From there you can click on the set to see which friend has cards you need or how much it is in the marketplace.

Final Fantasy IX is coming out on smartphones and PC, and by the looks of it it's gonna be a proper port and not look awful like the ports for V and VI. Here's hoping it comes to steam

The bit where they had the clean looking Zidane render in front of the insanely blurry background was pretty funny.

Steven, you have permission to advertise as much as you want here. Also, let me know when it's out. I'll stream the fuck out of it. Congrats, man. You deserve it after all the work you've put in. I'm sure it'll be a great game.

I'll see what's up with how steam keys work and send out a few review copies here.
You know what, it was a lot of work. I'm not kidding when I say it was about 10 times the amount of work I had initially thought. Keep in mind I started this project completely cold, I literally googled " make man move". I learned so much stuff, not just about making games, but everything about all that surrounds making games. I can't wait to start on my next game with the bank of information I have now.
I encourage anyone who has ever been on the fence about making their own game to go for it. Just remember that how much of your self you commit to it is directly proportionate to how shitty your life will become. Above all its an experience I'm grateful to have had, would make the same decision again in a heart beat.

Don't worry about the keys. I'm sure everyone here is willing to help support your game and buy it outright.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
Yeah, I'll pass some out. Giving away keys is one of the small things I was looking forward to doing, and I don't got nobody better to give them out to than you schlubs. Of course if someone wanted to buy it, that's cool too. Doubt it will be expensive, maybe 5 bucks or so, still need to work that stuff out with other people involved.
