Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I have Bob, Blitzkrieg, and Gold Helm left over if anyone wants. Just send me 3 non-summer cards you don't want and I'll probably accept.

We did it. Level 100 million. Valve even made a nice killscreen for it.
As well as a final tongue in cheek badge

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
Big new TF2 update. It takes a page out of CS:GOs book with weapon skins and the ability to pick up dropped weapons(as long as your class can use it). Also new maps and lots of balance changes. I'm hyped and will be back derping asap.

I started a Starbound server with my brother if anyone is interested in playing that game. Message me on steam if you want the address.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I've arrived late to the Steam party. My son has been playing stuff like TF2 for ages, I finally got an account of my own to play Crypt of the Necrodancer. What a great game that is! I also checked this thread and saw everyone had FTL. I've played a bit of TFL since but man is it tough to play for an hour and then something sets half your ship on fire and you're stuffed
I applaud Steam for having such a 'rounded' experience and I see there is a community thing happening. I'm a bit socially backwards for multi-player games but if anyone is inclined to add me on Steam I am " Rev_John ". Cheers!!

... or maybe my name on Steam is " zapzaprevjohn " ? If you see a bearded Aussie, that's me

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
Got a game called Mercenary Kings in a recent humble bundle. It's pretty cool in my opinion. reminds me of a more RPG-ish Metal Slug.
If anyone happens to ever get it, we should play together (4 person online co-op) any time I get put in a public game, it's with people who are muuuuuuuch further along than I am.

Halloween sale is up and some stuff is dirt cheap. One game is 2 cents, but it's probably not even worth your time for free. Some of the others are pretty cool though. Check this page and sort by price-

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
Haven't posted here in a while. Haven't really used my steam as much as I should. 74 games I think, and I've only significantly played like 20 of em...
Playing Final Fantasy IV remaster. I chose hard mode being that I have played FF IV before on GBA & Ps1, quite a few times, and yet I've still never beat it.
Hard mode is... Hard! I'm loving it though, and I'm loving a lot of changes. Edward and Cid buffed from what they used to be. A lot of useless moves are now more useful. Bosses take a lot of thought and strategy, compared to usual. It's a lot to explain, but it's a lot nicer than just 'These 3 guys attack, while these 2 heal'. It's more like utilizing everything in your arsenal on both offense and defense, while having 1 or 2 party members use their absolute best attacks to get the most out of what will surely result in a gruesome counter-attack by the boss.
Overall, really impressed with the remaster. (Yes I know it's the DS version upscaled, but hey). That's the one complaint I guess is aesthetically I still would take GBA over any. Maybe overall too, but this hard mode run is an excuse to say I did it. Gets a bit stressful in certain boss fights like the first Golbez fight... That was a doozy.

I've owned Don't Starve together for a while now, but haven't played it once.
Also bought Elite Dangerous today on a whim.

Banished Just another city sim? Or is it pretty unique?
