I welcome Amaterasu as well, I just don't think she is as over-the-top as a character like Dante.

I have some unfortunate news for true Capcom fans, one legendary and truely iconic character
for his time has been rejected from the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 cast, despite his skills, cunning
additude, and over the top comebacks. His absence will be felt.

I think Dante is pretty cool, but Punisher is way cooler as far as I am concerned.

He is cooler. Dante can do all these flashy moves and stuff but Punisher is just a guy who is hard to kill. He's like Batman except he tortures and kills the bad guys.

Didn't you have that whole arguement with Tails and Steven on Homosexuality and
how it doesn't affect how the character is?

And what's wrong with being a long, silver haired hero with a full leather jacket
with cocky additude that doesn't change despite his past that smiles at the sight of danger
with awesome over-the-top moves and enjoys gambling in his spare time?

Yeah, Punisher is a badass, but I do think Dante is pretty cool, just not nearly as cool.

Yeah what's you're point? I'm not saying it ruins Dante, he's always been that way. I'm also not saying it's wrong or it's wrong for you to like it. I just think he looks ridiculous and not very manly. We were comparing him to Punisher who is obviously much more macho and intimidating.

We've had this discussion before but I still have to disagree that it makes an awesome character.

Long silver hair and what he wears means nothing when it comes to character development. I'm not a fan of cockiness but I can agree that it's usually a positive quality for an action hero. Over the top moves and gambling don't do anything for me.
Does it make more sense now? Dante is not a good character, imo.

They're only similar cosmetically. When it comes to actual character development they are vastly different. I like Setzer because I played the game and he was a character I cared about. DMC never drew me in and never made me care about Dante, big difference in my eyes.

You should really try DMC, Dante has a great personality.
