Capcom announced why MvC3 isn't initially coming to the Wii, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom:

I figured that was the reason.

By the looks of it, Storm plays like she did in MvC2.

While Viper, plays suprisingly good, I was worried if she'd be a misfit, but she
seems to blend in well. She even has her focus attack from Street Fighter IV.

I'm guessing we have to wait another month for Frank to be announced.
Unless he's going to be announced at Jump.

They both look awesome, too bad it wasn't Frank, I really needed a morale booster like that...
But Megaman will be awesome too.

They're going to have 6 characters revealed in January.

The two I can think of that are certain are Frank and Venom, they both are photojournalists
and because of that, they're most likely going to be rivals.

The other 2 Capcom characters I expect are Haggar and Bison.
As for Marvel, I have no idea.

They said they have 10 more characters left, and they're announcing 4 in December, so there
has to be 6 in January. The last characters revealed are always the characters that have to be
unlocked to play as...

It took me a while to unlock Frank in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and I guess I have to do it again.

But who do you guys think are in?

Frank has been teased over and over again, Haggar has been leaked, and Bison is Capcom's
second most popular villain behind Wesker.

As for Marvel, I'm guessing Venom, Ms. Marvel, and Howard the Duck.

Now that I think of it, I had a dream back in my senior year of High School of Crimson Viper
fighting Iron Man, and it was way before Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was announced. Wierd, huh?

She's not the most popular character but they did make a movie about her and she was in the Daredevil movie. It's not like she's unheard of by any means.

Well, if she's in, the most likely cast is (With their most likely rival as they always have common theme):

Capcom - Marvel:
Mega Man - Taskmaster (Learn moves from enemy)
Frank West - Venom (Photographers)
M. Bison - Elektra (Terrorist/Anti-Terrorist)
Mike Haggar - Howard the Duck (Politicians)

Makes sense if you think about it.

Bison is a demon from hell that wants to take over the world via terrorism.

Now that I think of it, the only character that I'm questionable about is Taskmaster.

He's been rumored since day one and Seth said there's one character that is absolutely insane
to play as. I'm going on a limb and say it's Deadpool's rival, the Taskmaster.

I just want to see how Howard the Duck will play, all the developers are hinting he's in...

Another "leaked list" has circulated the internet:
Shoryuken - Rumor - Twitter Account Claims to be Leaking Marvel vs Capcom 3 Reveal Plans

My opinion? Completely false. He says that there are 6 characters left when
developers themselves said that there are 8 left. Another reason is that Akuma has
been deconfirmed for a while now as there are no other Shotos than Ryu. Seth
Killian also said there was one character in that he found 100% questionable when
they wanted him in (my guess a joke character) but every charcter on each side
seem very reasonable to be in MvC3. Also, every stage has a character, which
begs the question as to why Elektra has a stage but she's not in.

Another thing is that I doubt Megaman woun't return, he's Capcom's poster child,
he's 100% in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Also, the basis for the Haggar silhouette can
easily be found on the internet:

A good sign that a bunch of characters are to be announced sooner or later.

I'm going to guess they have an episode 4 trailer planned because Spider-Man wasn't featured.

Edit: After looking through the trailer a second time, it looks there are 2 sihouettes in C. Vipers
papers, and as I looked closer, I think one of them was Megaman Starforce. People are saying
one of them is Elektra, but the other one is hard to see.

On one of the documents is a dog, here's what I saw in order:
In the suitcase looks a bit like a helmet of some sort on the left hand side, on the right looks like a tank of some sort.
The first set of computer screens, the top resembles a blueprints of some sort. The bottom looks like a fairly sturdy male body.
Second picture of computer screen, appears to be the same screen, bottom one only. This is because Chris Redfield is in both pictures. It is a fairly muscular male, maybe Venom or Iron Man.
First documents looks like one of the ones from the briefcase, and another depicting what looks like some form of helmet.
Second set of documents, a dog on the page closest to C. Viper.
Next set of documents, still a dog on the top, the second being what appears to be either Iron Man flying, or Dante breaking through a window, like in the trailers for the new DMC.

There appears to be nothing significant in the picture of the credits.
