Wow 0/24 takedowns, and only 8 landed punches....damn I wonder if that is a record for the amount of time they fought. Yeah BJ Penn is in a leauge of his own at 155. His new training camp is looking real good. I cant remember a cut being as bad as his is, besides Eastmans cut. But this one is bad.
I still can't believe how bad that cut is. When I was watching that fight I was getting kinda bored with the beat down, then all the sudden BJ blasted sanchez and the blood was pouring(BJ licked it off his gloves btw). I was shocked honestly. It didn't look like a hit that would lacerate that badly.
Either way I feel bad for Sanchez. After all that hype he got shut down. He must be humiliated.
Yeah good ol BJ and him licking his gloves. I think its his new trademark. I dont feel bad for him, he was talking a huge game. Did you happen to watch the countdown for 107? Sanchez is really into the Tony Robbins stuff, which actually I really like but he goes a little overboard. He said he invented something called YES Cartwheels, then started to do them. After he got whooped I started to do them in my living room, my girlfriend was laughing at me. But in the end maybe this beating will do good for him, kinda like the GSP beating of Penn did great things for Penn. Hopefully he comes back that much better.
Yeah Sanchez is definitely a good fighter. Hopefully this does help him and he can move past the serious spanking he received.
I did see the countdown and I was not impressed with his weirdness, no offense to Tony Robbins or you.
None taken, I only like the mental part of what Robbins says. I honestly believe our mind is more powerful then most can imagine. But Diego, he is wierd, and I have always disliked his wierdness. I like how he is super confident in himself, but at the sametime I think he is full of himself. He makes it easy to make fun of him(as in the catwheels).
Time to do some more Yes Cartwheels......

Hopefully we see a rematch, I bet that will go down a lot differently. Sanchez isn't a bad fighter by any means. I think that first big punch he took really shook him for the rest of the fight. BJ really smoked him though, gotta give him a lot of credit. His takedown defense is crazy.
I was let down by the Mir fight. I hate that prick and I was hoping he'd get knocked out cold. I guess now he's closer to his rematch with Brock, that should be interesting as well.
I am not a huge fan of Mir's but I would like to see him and Brock again. It would be very interesting. I would love to see Brock lose.
I am very disapointed in ufc's 108 fight card. But excited for 109. The geriatric fight between Couture/Coleman will be cool. Nogueira/Vera will be cool as well. But I am really excited to see Frank Trigg come back to the ufc to fight Matt Serra. I hate Trigg but I think its a great match up, and should be really fun to watch. And to see Rolles Gracie come in to the ufc should be cool also. Its been a while since I have seen a Gracie around.
Who do you want to see win~Rashad Evans or Rampage Jackson? I have never liked Rashad but after watching the last TUF season I really got alot of respect for him. He seemed to be a great coach, and seemed to actually care.

Why are all the good ones in this and 108 got shafted?
I didnt understand this, but I am on a new sleeping schedule so I am little out of it.
I'd like to see Rashad win but I like Rampage, either way it'll be a good fight. I agree about the reality show, Rashad was definitely the better coach.

I was asking why 108 is such a poor card but 109 seems to be awesome.
im not all that pumped about either card, 109 seems better but are any of the fights on either card even going to decide a no. 1 contender? I shouldnt say im not pumped, 109 does look like a great night of fights, but i really think a title should be on the line somewhere in there.
off topic: ufc 107 knock-out of the night went to a guy from my old stomping grounds, dartmouth nova scotia, his name is tj grant.
