I need my Tron score corrected. I submitted 484393, but upon review of my pic, it appears to actually be 464393. Won't change anything at this point, but I'd rather it be correct. The monitor had a bit of bleed which made the 6 look like an 8, but looking at the graphics set in MAME, the top of the 8 is narrower than the bottom. Here's the screenshot and a screengrab of the graphics with 6 and 8 blown up for comparison. Sorry for the confusion.

We were talking over on the DKF chat about posting INP's if you had them, so I decided to zip up all the INP's on my highest submissions for each game. I also included screen shots if they were done on real hardware (Tron, Defender and Joust on a JROK multi-williams). A couple notes: the Defender one was on default settings, 3 ships+extras every 10K (I did it at an arcade and couldn't fiddle with the settings). I played 5 ships and hyperspace killed off the other two so I wouldn't get any extra points from running into something before I was able to snap a pic. I still had one unused smart bomb, plus the 2 extra (due to the extras every 10K). The Tron one was the one I posted above, and Joust was done on the correct 5 men only setting. Also, all the INP's were done using Wolfmame 106, except for Asteroids. I used Wolfmame 156 for that one, since that romset didn't exist in 106. Look forward to others posting INP's too

And Wolf, thanks yet again for running such an amazing tournament with terrific turnout, great players, and amazing scores! I had a blast, discovered some new games I really like, and revisited some favorites. Hopefully everybody else did too.

That's the kind of class these Wolfman24 tournaments bring out in some folk.

Congratulations to the worthy champions - Jivey and Fred (and some other fellow in the background) put together a tremendous, unassailable team of wieners. Winners.

And hats off to everyone who put in a score, whether or not you made it onto the scoreboard for your team.

It was a lot of fun! Congrats to Team Penis, we Cosmic Triggers put in a valiant effort but it was not to be. At least I (barely) managed 1st in the solo rankings, for whatever that's worth.

I was going to do another writeup on all the games but I'll just give some quick thoughts on random things:

Toobin' is a terrible game.
My Sunset Riders and Smash TV scores were done on the first day of playing, and those scores managed to hold up as 1st places for the rest of the tournament. I kinda wanted to keep playing Smash TV to try in vain for that 1-credit clear that's been eluding me, but it wouldn't have helped the team at all.
I also wanted to play R-Type Leo a little more to try to get the no-miss clear, but that wouldn't have helped my team either... until the last few hours when TiF and Zerst passed me up. Jerks.
Ghosts 'n Goblins is a terrible game that should never be used for tournaments.
Anybody who had access to an arcade with a Roadblasters cab (or owned one themselves, cough cough Hector) definitely had an advantage because trying to play that game with MAME controls is assssss. Thank god Ground Kontrol had a cab for me to play! Ditto for Pole Position, shoutouts to Ken House for letting me get that score on his cab.
