Sorry to nitpick your song but I think it's obvious Weird Al didn't do it. He's great and all but his songs always sound like his songs, because he sings them.

After watching that video and laughing I read more about it and it's a lot less funny. Apparently Mayor Bloomberg screwed up big time and caused the worst snow response in NYs recent history. As a life long resident of this area I can say that I'm shocked at how bad they handled this pretty normal snowfall. I read that some streets are still untouched by plows three days later, that's inexcusable. Supposedly Bloomberg waited until after the snow to start digging out to save money or some other such nonsense. Also, I read that they cut the budget and got rid of around 400 employees who would be handling this kind of thing. Besides being a terrible idea it's also really pissed off a lot of people since they pay taxes for this kind of service.
Worst of all a baby died in NJ because of this fiasco. It took 9 hours for EMS to reach the mother. Yeah, 9 hours for an ambulance to help a woman giving birth. They only really made it there after a call saying the baby was crowning and the mother was bleeding. Unbelievable. Heads should roll over this.

One truly funny thing is people think Bloomberg would be a good president. Before all this I already disliked the guy for being a typical fat cat politician but now he's really shown his true colors. According to some reports hospitals and poorer areas weren't plowed asap but richer parts of Manhattan were. It pays to be rich huh?

I was crushed when I first saw this episode.
I was like:
'NOOOOOO! You can't do that to Spike! - especially after what happened to Julia!'
But then, as a series it's very well written {in that the characters and storyline were thoroughly explored} and there were so many different adventures the crew of the Bebop experienced that I think they did well by ending it where they did, lest it drag on and lose momentum.

I'll tell you one thing I did like about it, the atmosphere. I'm not sure what specifically but something about the backgrounds and the way it was drawn was cool. But then some of the characters came along and ruined it.
