Re: 3DS Members List
I'm going to pick up RE: Revelations for Easter. Icarus looks great but it's just not the type of game for me.

I read that review and it seems pretty fair given the weird controls. They really had to sell it with a kickstand to play it better?

@Steven- I've seen a couple of episodes of a walkthrough and while the graphics are fantastic, I don't know if they are the best ever

But yeah, they are pretty stellar and are particularly of notice given that the console is a hand held. I'm pretty into Sin & Punishment and I'm actually kind of swayed to the 3DS with the reboot to Icarus.

You need to play it before you call the review fair. I have zero problems with the controls, and I don't use the little stand.

Regarding the best graphics ever comment, I stand by it. I'm not talking about polygon count or any sort of technical aspects. I'm talking strictly design and excecution. Each and every level is a sight to behold, and due to the mythical nature of the series, the designers were free to do whatever they wanted, and they did an amazing job. Obviously this is completely objective, and you are all free to say what you think has the best graphics ever, weither it be Modern Warfare 3 or Rayman Origins... but for me, this is the pinnacle.

I also, have had no problems with the controls. It took me one level of play to get accustomed to the controls but I find that the stylus is much more quick and precise than a second stick would be.

Re: 3DS Members List
Kid Icarus: Uprising is absolutely fantastic. The amount of content itself is overwhelming. 360 achievements, 100 powers to unlock, over a million different weapon combinations, 404 AR cards, at least that many idols to collect. 25 story mode levels, a boss rush mode, AR card battle mode, two online multiplayer modes, this thing is psychotic.
Right now I just started my second playthrough. I'm going through it at level 5 difficulty. After that I think I'll take on the Boss Rush mode.
I've also been doing a little bit of the Light vs. Dark online multiplayer. I'm using a set of Stealth Claws and my set up focuses heavily on speed and melee attacks. It's an amazing rush running up to someone head-on while quick dodging crap tons of laser and canon fire.

Re: 3DS Members List
Nice, my Stealth Claws are 275 so we should be pretty evenly matched.
I have:
+4 Overall Defense
+1 Running Speed
+3 Evasion
+2 Melee Dash Attack
+2 In-peril Dodge

Re: 3DS Members List
Bah.. I thought they were 286 but they are only 273.
4 star ranged
3 1/2 star melee
confusion +2
evasion +1
melee combo +1
melee dash attack +2
Gonna try to get something better tonight. I'm good for some online pretty much any night this week, after 9 or so.

Okay... Thursday might be better to star around 8 or so. Next day is a holiday and the wife might want to paint the town red.

Tenbo, I got company coming over at around 8 tonight, if you can get on a little early that would be cool, otherwise we will have to wait. I'm free all night tommorow.

Re: 3DS Members List
Indeed, did you notice me being invisible at all? Just curious as to what excatly the opponent sees.
Your guy is really nimble and quick, had me spinning in circles a few times. That 1800+ plus round I had is my record.
@CP, not sure specifically, but I think my team one the majority, me and Ten were the best players out of the 6.

Re: 3DS Members List
@SC: Yeah, you were completely invisible except for your shots. That was the only way I was able to locate you.
Steven's got some great skills with the Drill Arm.
I love my Stealth Claws but they have crappy damage output.

Re: 3DS Members List
You got some major skills too Ten, we were pretty close on our 1 on 1 encounters but I think you might have gotten the edge. My melee dash attack hits for 133 dmg, when they pop up, there is a good chance they arn't comming down again.

Re: 3DS Members List
I would say you had the edge if there was some distance between us. I need to work on my ability to close in. I was taking hits that could have been dodged and often I would melee dash right through you instead of setting up my melee combo like I was trying to.
I also need to practice using my powers. I have a lvl 3 Paralyze attack that I only remembered to use twice. I also currently have Light Foot, Tireless, and Super Armor (just to prevent knockbacks).
Man I hated the lava level. I did not realize you could fall in. Died twice that way.
We'll have to do that again sometime. I had a blast and unlocked four achievements doing so. It'd be great if we could wrangle up a couple more RU members to join the fun.
As for Solo, I'm still working on a difficulty 5 run (Chptr 11) and I'm trying to collect some better weapons.
