Greetings old friends! After a multi-year sabbatical from RU (newborn twins will do that to a guy), I happened to jump on the other night to show my 6 year old the awesomeness of Retrouprising!

I was glad to see all the "core" guys and friends still active as ever... hello to all of you! I probably wont' be very active in forums (like I ever was

) but I definitely want to test out the N64 games. Got some to work momentarily, but still having issues... will post that in another thread.

As for my avatar... well many of you know, that's the NHL Hockey version of ME. Was it Starfoxfan who created that

Can't remember, but this place holds great memories for me. All the best to all of you!

To be honest I thought it was pretty amazing for its time and with games such as 007 - GoldenEye (Europe) » Nintendo 64 and Perfect Dark (USA) (Rev A) » Nintendo 64 whose programming made modern FPS games like the COD series possible, I think the N64 is an important part of Gaming History.

(Kappa). I loved my N64, and I still do. It gets played at least a couple times a month for various reasons. So many great multiplayer games, and a library full of classics. Hate all you want, the only thing the N64 didn't have was legit RPGs. That irked me as a big RPG fan, but I got to go back through and play those later for other systems at basically no cost.

It was severely lacking in a lot more than RPGs. Actually it's much easier to list off its good traits than its bad.
