That Michelle Obama looks somewhat like Candy Kong. I don't understand, though, how that's the same as saying that all people of color look like monkeys. I am a person of color myself. If it were Bush I compared to a chimp, no one would care because he's white. You can compare any person of any color to a chimp because of mannerisms or characteristics. I am not going to give special treatment to someone just because they are a person of color. I'm sorry it was taken that way, and I'll try to be more careful next time.

I find it difficult to choose any real character to describe like that. I'm seriously contemplating between Zero Suit Samus, Cammy, and Lara Croft.

JG- these characters are all based on the Three Kingdoms period in China. Most aren't accurate(it was very long ago, like around the time Jesus supposedly walked the earth). There's a lot of pictures and other representations of them. Dynasty Warriors is just another game in the franchise.

Sadly I know very little about Chinese culture, but I guess this is a start.
Funny side note - I recently got a DVD I thought was in Japanese, but is in fact in Chinese

The only reason I learned about it in the first place is because of video games. I randomly got a Romance of the Three Kingdoms game and it was awesome. After that I wanted to know more about it. It was weird to read some people worship Guan Yu. He was cool in the game but they didn't make him out to be some icon or holy person.

That's supposed to be a big statue but it's hard to see I guess. Btw could it look any cooler with the background and the misty clouds? It's like straight out of a movie.

I've heard that there are a lot of places like that still in China, and that's why I told NG that she should tell her mom to take lots of pictures.

Well, I have to say this. I'm going to do a lot more research on the Three Kingdoms period thanks to DW. I'm still going to say I like Cammy and Zero Suit Samus, but I think I like Nina too.

I like that, especially for this game, her body isn't too exaggerated and her clothes are not insanely revealing, or too small.
